About what part of MO is your farm? In 2023 my wife and I moved to a 6 acre farm in MO. Best decision of my life!!! Congrats and good luck on the future hunts!
Congratulations, we bought our biggest piece this year as well, outside Kirksville 80 acres. Best feeling ever. Look forward to following along, my advice for open ground, keep your native grasses best you can and burn every couple years, or have farmed with corn or beans for food and cover. Buy fruit trees now in the off season while they are cheap and plant various apples and pears so in 5 years youll have some good food they love. Norway pines are fast growing and also now is great time to buy them cheaper. I plant them in various spots to create structure and deer seem to come out more daylight of a field has structures. I cant explain that one lol. I had a very similar property to yours
Having a " tree stand" set dead center of an open field is..... I'll subscribe but please, don't let this become a sitting in a box blind and sniping deer like so many others.
Lots of plan on how to hunt this farm. Yes, we took the blind in the middle of field option this first year because it was late in the off-season when it was purchased.
It's one of those awesome feelings that you cant explain to anyone who hasn't been there. Congratulations.
A lifelong dream that finally came true! Wait until you see the deer hunt off it in part 2!
Can’t wait until more videos come out on this new piece of heaven!
Part 2 coming soon!

Be nice to have some income. Could be a heck of a good farm late season with plots. But your neighbors could also have a big effect on
It's a great setup for sure!
