Hey was wondering if you get those tripy sounds out of a boss te2 tera echo? Sure sounds like that. I Just purchased a xone 96 and waiting for it to arrive. And as i am not big on fx i would like to start experimenting . I thank you in advance.
yeah I have a boss re-20 set up on send one, returning on A and a Kaoss Pad on send 2 returning on B. I like to send a little bit of return A out send 2 so that my space echo gets a little reverb from the Kaoss pad! :)
Hi May i have a request from you. Actually i cant connect my djs 1000 promptly to the xone 96 mixer. I tried more options but it does not work 100%. I connected the imput from djs to the send 1 of xone and then the output 1 to the channel 3 of the xone on RCA not with the thruout witch is with Jack TRS as the send are. How have u made your setup. Please.
hmm that all sounds correct, I had mine connected to a line input on one of the channels. Since this set I have sold mine but that sounds correct. Just make sure you plug it into a line input and not a phono! Good luck
awesome setup how do you go about touch preview on the 3000's with the 96? Looks like you recently changed your setup from the sc6000 m's is there an improvement with the pioneer setup or advantage?
Unfortunately these is no way to use touch preview with the 3000s. It seems like something that could be very easily enabled with a firmware update. My hope is there are enough die hard & high-profile DJs out there who use Xone mixers to warrant Pioneer doing this... though I suspect they may not and keep it a feature only to be enjoyed by those using Pioneer mixers. I loved my time with the SC5000Ms. I really miss being able to use the slicer while staying within a loop. Unfortunately on the 3000s using slip roll will result in the loop being turned off... Other than that, the 3000s are fantastic, I do really like the screen and the visual aspect of the menus. I think the slip reverse and reverse is better than Denons. Its easier to release on the beat and sounds punchier when you do. I also noticed the 3000s sound better! wasnt expecting that but it was noticeable! I play out 4 times a week and its always on CDJs and so overall its been a great move... just wish it was cheaper to get a third haha
@@tulshimusic3178 Back in June I ordered a pair of 3000's still haven't arrived next delivery for UK im told around mid OCtober. Theres the reason I asked again the availability of 3000.s apparently Pioneer are stepping it up ref manufacture. Currently setup xdj-xz. Facing the slow availability of v10 or 900nexus 2.. Latest date for the mixers could be Feb /March 23. so dilema xone 96 is available and in stock. so was wondering diff for/against xone96 until v10 is available. Or just go for the 96 add fx .. thats how i came across your stream although there's the youtube compression i can distinctly hear diff your 3000 compared your sets :P . enjoyable by the way.. i dont play out each week just a hobbyist i absolutely love music ...thanks for replying #staysafe
@@TBUKMusic damn sorry to hear about your trouble getting a hold of a pair! I literally just spent 20mins every morning checking online stores. One morning a store showed stock of 2 units. I rang them up to check and bought them there and then. I had to do that for about 2 weeks before a store with stock showed up. Overall not that bad considering the waits some people have to put up with.... Re the mixer... thats a really tough issue. I would never have considered a pioneer mixer before the V10. I just cannot make do with a three band eq. Once you've mixed on xone EQs theres no going back. Also the filters are the bomb. Now with the V10 we have the filters, and four band EQs. Theres a healthy send return system that would allow me to incorporate my pedals (which I think help me stand out and make my sets unique.) Theres also an isoliator, which i would love to add to my home system, but then asking a venue to strap an isolator across the mains at a gig is a major PITA. SO having all this on the V10 is very tempting... Also Im really amazed at just how popular they are at venues and how many of them there are "in the wild" again making it a serious contender. Sure its a lot more expensive, but if you spending the money for a 96, holding off a little longer and getting a V10 if it is right for you is something that makes a lot of sense. Recently Ive been having so much fun on my 96 that my GAS has subsided for the v10. But I have a friend who distributes pioneer gear, so at some point during the winter I'm going to try and get one in to test drive. The 96 is an amazing sounding mixer, and is so super flexible and fun when you start hooking up a couple of effect units that I really do love it.
@@tulshimusic3178 your sets are awesome loving the smooth transitions .. I guess the 4 band eq is responsible for that one.. good luck with v10 project.. #staysafe
