I see a Haro, I upvote. How am I second!? Anyways, Gundam has got to be one of the most influential anime in history. What you had sounds like a spiritual experience. You might be a Newtype. Also wanted to thank you for sharing these meaningful pieces of your life experience.
you could try building a gunpla, then you can have your own little Gundam at home. Sounds like you were touched by a very big artwork, that is the power of art. I hope some of my artwork can do that kind of thing too. By the way, are there no cons like Comic Con in your area? There you will see lots of people who also like video games/giant robots etc. lol I am afraid I didn't get most of the references, I mostly watched Gundam 00, Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED but it was a whle ago. I have been building gunpla though.
