10 years and still the best amv
I swear this song is the song played when the hero is facing impossible odds and comes out victorious in what can only be described as legend.
Still one of the best amvs on the internet.
I remember watching this a very long time ago when I was just a tike. This is the original Diamond Eyes amv/music video and all others are just cheap knockoffs of amateurs. I just wish the maker would upload this in HD. It truly is one of my favorite videos on RUclips.
I was just going thru all my old stuff and...just wow, this guy had a gift, his this is War were perfect. SO much quality, sadly it hasn't aged well, the cuts are now so obvious with a quality connection.

Honestly, Nothing can be said less than a Masterpiece about the video you have created. Hands down the best Music Video put to some of the best of the best Video Games with one of the greatest songs ever made. An amazing tribute that I could watch over and over and still smile and head bang to. Mad props to you, Simply Amazing.
This is one of the best vids of it's type I've seen, you put a lot of work into it and it shows, the timing of the sequences is awesome.

Hey man love the song and I love how a amazing of a job you did with the timing every video and matching it up with the music. This is the only music video i watch of this song on youtube.
Some of the clips are from the trailer for the Halo movie. The face view of the soldier in the helmet and the clips after that till the energy sword fight are all clips from the movie trailer. Though I agree with everyone else this video is my favorite I watch it all the time. The clips go perfectly with the song. You really did an amazing job on this video.

@tornic531 I totally agree with you sir! Through the midsong I really wanted to capture the horrors of war and not every battle is won and in the end we all loose someone close to us, then slowly loose are humanity. By using the anime clips I did a fine job in sending that message to our fans out there. Oh we have always put story before anything, I spend hours listening to the song, the words and the sound to get the right scene for that part.

I loved the pacing, how you brought in images of the heroes losing the battles and the remorseful anime imagesmid-song when the music slows, but when it picks up again the characters all seem to have a renewed spirit. its like your telling a story with the AMV/GMV. Keep it up man.
BTW, at 2:16 did you put that real military pilot in there as a tribute to the armed forces, or am i thinking too hard
