Our churches have been practically closed for nearly 60 weeks, except a few weeks during the summer of 2020. Our parish has adapted to the virtual, but it is no substitute for attending in person as a local worshipping church community.
We pay tribute to all the people of the parish who have been shining examples of support in our great parish. We commend those who have been on the front line in the provision of every service. We thank everyone who has given generous financial support to your parish in these challenging and difficult times.
By the Rivers of Babylon is a little project, following on from our Jerusalema at Easter, to give everyone a much needed lift , raise your spirits and put a smile on your face.
We look forward to welcoming you back safely for Masses and public worship from May 10 . Our churches are indeed places of constant prayer and a spiritual home for all God's people, Teach Pobail Dé.
