Into the light is way bigger than I thought. Even though ill probably end up only using like 3-4 guns in the end, the chase after all the godrolls is definitely gonna keep me entertained till TFS.
3-4 is more than i can say for most seasonal weapons

The limited edge transit with changeable cascade/envious + bait and switch is gonna ensue the biggest loot chase in a long time

Not being able to change barrel, mag or MW is going to get people annoyed and I intitally thought it was kinda dumb upon first hearing it, but then I realized that being able to change those perks gives raid adepts a bit more flavor which is totally fine imo
Thanks so much on the info! Honestly may be weird but I am excited alot for spin-to-win sword since Season of arrivals was my first season my friends brought me into, and it was such a fun meta in pve, so I'm (hoping) it could possibly reignite a spin to win meta :D
It gets some pretty insane damage rolls too. I’m only worried about the ammo economy, but we shall see!

People complaining about these weapons returning obviously don’t know that they had a pool of about 40 weapons to choose from and in that pool was the likes of Chroma Rush and Trophy Hunter.
I don’t know about you guys but I know what I’d prefer and it ain’t Chroma Rush and Trophy Hunter.
Because Recoloring a gun and having double perks after these weapons got nerfed into the ground than calling them "Shiny" as if they are Pokémon gonna make the game much more exciting & fun... mind you thats lame asf. No originality and no creativity. I can shi out something better no offense. Destiny 1 Veteran... and Early D2.... this game just done

I actually think this concept should be a recurring thing rather than momentos like raid and dungeon weapons should have the limited ed drops or smth. Even if they got rid of the double perk part of it, I like the idea that most people have the most recent raids craftable double enhanced god rod but true gamers would have a double enhanced limited ed drop that can only be acquired as a rare drop
As soon as I saw these Shiny weapon variants I was like "Skarrows about to go nuts for these" 😂.
A bit annoying that you cant change the barrels but i like the double enhanced perks.

REALLY not a huge fan of static barrels and magazines. Being able to change them felt like a safety net while also retaining that loot grind to get the perks you want.

alright well i'll take "not too rare" and "healthy amount" over "low chance to drop" given how the final weapon to become available will be available as shiny for 2 weeks, dripfeeding is just lame
I think I’m this context it’s definitely the best choice. You have such a limited amount of time to farm this content that them being super rare would do more harm then good.

You can farm them. You just get a guaranteed fixed one from a quest.

I think this is good as a trial run of this concept - especially when we’ll only have a couple of weeks to farm some of these weapons.

The only thing I didn't hear you talk about was how we're only getting 6 right away and the other 6 are time gated, once per week. They stated that in a blog post the day after I believe.

These are more akin to completely new guns that just happen to look like old weapons imo. The new utility/perk pool completely evolves the feel and use-cases for each of them. Calling them “recycled nerfed weapons” is way over simplifying. Most of them will be much more powerful this time around anyways.
Dissapointed that these weapons have be brought bk was hoping for 12 never before seen weapons.
