This is my take on the situation. Kevin went into the timber to find a demon and deal or reason with it. He did find the monster, one that only Kevin can see. We all have our personal monsters. Kevin commenced to repeat all the things that haven't worked in the past and will never work going forward. Kevin needed help to see the monster and thankfully he accepted the help. He went to the timber to find the monster and found out that he needed to bury the jaded monster and never go back. So, Kevin drop the rope, ignore the monster, and thank God for your present life. I've watched alot of Sasquatch videos. A few Native Americans we're interviewed in these videos. They say that Sasquatch has the ability to disappear in a blink of an eye, taken form as trees. Tribes learned to share the land with Sasquatch. They don't bother them and vice versa. Certain members of tribes actually communicate face to face. The leader of the Sasquatch clan has to accept the individual in order for them to be allowed in Sasquatch territory. As a show of respect the Natives would take like a fruit basket to the Sasquatch clan. Oranges and apples are some of the fruits they love. What I've learned two type's of Sasquatch. Aggressive and territorial. The other is to be left alone but has helped humans when in danger. They have been observing humans for hundreds of years and very intelligent. I hope you have firearms.
