Hey lovely lady, Thank you for the shout out!! I keep meaning to scale up that pattern for Lego because we are all Lego lovers! Will be following with interest as always. Always knitting and sewing online to lots of different colour ways of Lego fabric. ❤
Excellent! I’ll keep you posted on project Lego 😉 another lovely lady recommended always knitting and sewing too.. they have lovely bits! Thanks a mill!!
All your makes look lovely. My planend seasonal makes mostly didn't happen this year as life got in the way, but am definitely up for another go this year.
It was great to see all your gift to November makes and your beanies are brilliant! I am just about to do a zip neck sweater so I was intrigued to see yours and it looks incredible. Now every time I watch you videos you have made something lovely from Aldi fat quarters! I need to get myself to one but the funny thing was there was talk of one being opened in our town and all I could think about was the fabric supply 😂 What a super little laptop bag, how clever of you just to whip that up! Great catch up, thanks 😊
Oh I hope you get a local Aldi! The fat quarters are super cute! I always go for a good rummage when I’m in there! I’ve been very lucky recently and found some lovely ones! The bag was fun to make… now I want to quilt all the things 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ thanks so much for your sweater comment! I’m so pleased with how it came out! I’ll have a makes vlog shortly and go into more details.. spoiler alert! I had to redo the zip 3 times 😩😩😩 but I got there in the end! Thanks so much Carole!
No need to apologize for a long video! I love listening to all your sewing & life catch up! I’m looking forward to hearing more about the quarter zip top you made. I’d love to make one! The laptop bag is super cute! I’d also like to make one of those! ❤😊
Thanks so much Maureen! I love chatting to you lovely people! I’ll definitely go into more detail on the zip top in the next video! But I would totally recommend the pattern! The laptop bag is a bit of fun 🦊
Thank you for giving us some lovely ideas for gifts and your lovely cosy looking top and matching Beanie I have a grandson who has just had his first birthday so the little pyjamas look like something I could make for him 😍
I can’t believe how many projects you were able to accomplish in November/December! All are lovely and special and I’m quite sure are appreciated by your friends and family. Having just returned from South Africa and having my luggage stolen out of the baggage area with all my favorite spring/summer dresses, I am actually working on an Isla Wrap Dress (wraps in back!) from Jennifer Lauren Handmade out of Liberty Tana Lawn fabric! This is one of the dresses that was stolen in my first Liberty Tana Lawn Fabric. I’m using a different patterned fabric called “Amsterdam” I believe. Lots of tall skinny buildings in colorful tones. I also just finished two Sew Over It Heather dresses with fabric from Andrea’s Think Pink Boxes. Take care - look forward to seeing your latest winter makes…
Nooooooooo Loriann really????? You poor thing! Are you traumatised??? You’ve a lot of making to so? I’ve always wondered about the Heather dress. Would you recommend? Thanks as always for watching!
What a great idea for the Lego storage bag!! I have a few younger nephews who would love something like that.... As would any mom of boys. 😀 I have 2 myself as well and when they were younger...Legos were everywhere, including the vacuum, yeah... They're teens now and not so much into legos. So there's a ray of hope for you on that front! 😊
Always a pleasure to watch your videos Rachael. Thanks for the pj pattern recommendations - very useful. Loving your 101 Dalmatians set and will def be getting those patterns 👍🏻. You might remember I said I was going to be ‘down south’ in December and I did indeed go on an Aldi fat quarter hunt after seeing yours, but was unsuccessful this time 🫤. This year I hope to be more productive on the actual sewing up front, instead of just collecting fabric 🙈😃 xx
Thanks so much Anne! Those patterns are great! Hope you love them too! Ah what a shame you didn’t get any!! I’m sorry. Hopefully next time you’ll get lucky! They’re usually lurking under something else you don’t need 😂😂 happy sewing this year!
I found Lego fabric at BST fabrics, I think it’s called. Not sure what the postage would be like to Ireland though. I think I’ve also seen it on Amazon too
Rach. You've still got Freya on your mind. Listen, we've all been there. You and Freya had a good thing while it lasted but now she's taking over your sewing life and even your thoughts! I am not suggesting that you two break up, but perhaps it's time for a break. Maybe do a Freya Free February? Also, I love the longer videos because we get to hear not just the details of what you made, but why you made the choices you did. How did your parents enjoy staying in your new guest room? How did the turkey turn out?
You are too funny! Honestly, you crack me up 😂😂😂😂 Freya Free February! You are asking an awful lot of me 😉 but I’ll try 😩😩 My parents loved the room! Gave it 10/10… and despite us hosting Christmas…. My mum took charge of the turkey 😂😂😂
