At the end, check Zilisch tapping the brakes at the start of the back straight 49:44 to keep the bump draft closer to him and right after you see the driver to driver hand signals to keep everyone tight. Finally the great move to get back from 3rd to 1st by nailing the race line at the end. No other series can do this stuff, low HP is great racing.
I'd love to see the same championship but with all the best drivers in the world, imagine Verstappen fighting Jules Gounon and Rovanpera in these tiny little MX5s
Just got iracing and have been practicing in AI races with the MX-5 cause I'm too afraid to jump into a public lobby to race. Witnessing some of these drivers spin out has given me some piece of mind knowing that professionals aren't immune to mistakes/accidents. As a rookie, it definitely gives me some confidence.
10 second penalty seemed pretty harsh for that incident. Felt like a racing incident to me. He squeezed over a little but 5 Wagner didn’t really have much overlap he was just kind of sticking his nose in.
idk what either of the announcers names are, but its insane how much better the woman is than the dude. He is just consistently messing up names, missing action that she catches, and rambling without an end point.
