Andy, thanks for recording this. Really needed to hear it this week, it’s really easy for me to get in my head and think I’m not “skilled” enough. Always good to be reminded that it’s not all that hard… it’s just having sex, and women are just other human beings just like myself
Nobody's "skilled" at something when they're new to it. Give yourself permission to suck, aim to get a little better each week, keep on going. Progress, not perfection.

You talking about just being honest is mine riveting. It's so simple. Idk why that's such a novel idea. I realized I've got so much trash in my head. You CAN just tell a chick she's sexy and u wanna hang out.... Wow...
You can be that honest and upfront with dating, business, friends, family, your job - everyone you ever meet. A really good book on this is "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World".
Another book that's decent: "I Need Your Love: Is That True?"
And: "When I Say No, I Feel Guilty"
And: "Extreme Ownership"

I was listening to Andrew Huberman (top podcaster with a neuroscience PhD) who I think you might be familiar with on the Diary of a CEO podcast. Again he's a very popular guy in the podcast scene. He mentioned Byron Katie at 55:15ish on the podcast and it reminded me of you. Just an interesting observation that I wanted to point out.

About anime:
I tried telling each girl im interested in about the fact im into anime and about five times i got the "eww i hate anime" reaction. Which would act as a filter maybe but i dont really care if a girl i would date likes it or not.
Or should I? Im definitely playing not to lose and im definitely delaying my goal of getting a girlfriend by doing that
How important is having a girlfriend who's into anime for you? If it's something you REALLY want (if anime is a big part of your life), then keep on screening for women who are into it.
If it's not that big a deal to you, then you don't have to screen that hard with it.
Are you sure the girls are saying "Ewww I hate anime?" Or is that just how you're taking it - is it more like they're just not that into it? Are they actually saying "Ewwww"? I tell girls I'm into all sorts of nerdy shit, and VERY rarely do they ever go "Ewww". It's more like "Oh that's cool, I'm not really into that myself".

Thankfully it's a memory he can look back on and realize that 'Doing the Thing' is what needs to be done, as he was 'action faking'.
