1) IK wanted Faiz to be Army Chief, 2) IK did not want to give Faiz a corp but keep him in ISI even while knowing that he won't be eligible to be Cheif. So which math exactly results in "IK wanted him as chief of army staff". Mr. Syed seem to be a decent guy, but even he is not above envy or maybe IK did not have any legal minds who could show him fault in his math.
Also why not try him for abrogating his oath and meddling in politics? is SIFC in accordance with Military oath?
He explained that IK wanted to appoint Faiz as COAS directly from the post of ISPR but when he came to know that it can't be done so Khan had no other option than to appoint him as the Core commander.
