Well done! The sound or in parts, the lack of sound and the manipulation of it, was particularly effective. The fighting and characterization was well done. A noble effort!
That was awesome! Great cinematography, good costume and set design, and great rough action. I really appreciated the emphasis on grappling in combat. Good stuff!

@@steelwarriorfilms I like buying from them too. My local renaissance festival sells them, but I never get enough of them. The only thing I would change about them would be to give them more modernized grips like black micarta. I’ve been to get in touch with them about a new custom order, but so far they haven’t responded.
This was... interesting. One question I had though was if the fight was to the draw, then why not show a fight where both opponents would not draw 'til they be slain? I mean especially with the finale I would think one if not both of them would have kept going until they collapsed from exhaustion or wounds.
Are you talking about the final fight? Because he could have very easily killed me right there on that last move, but chose not to. I wouldn’t call that “a draw” at all… seems like a clear victory to me. If you’re talking about any of the other fights, I don’t remember any of them ending in a draw either...
@@fortheking.design I was just quoting the guy at the start of the vid. "The fights shall not be to the death but to the draw" you guys did great and I do not mean to disparage you. I loved the vid and keep it up!
@@lcoolman100 oh I see! I had forgotten that line. The writer of the script must have made a slight error there, because none of the fights actually ended in a draw. As far as I know, the definition of a “draw” is when neither opponent is victorious.
I think you should have a different voice narrating the intro, up until you show the guy in charge of the tournament, other then that, I think it was really good.
Well, YOU know that, and I know that, but does the guy who commented know that? His comment seemed to be differentiating the “intro narration“ from “the guy in charge of the tournament“ as if they were two separate voices.
I know that it is good to be able to see the actors expressions. but having all but two fighting without helmets just makes no sense. Even if it is not a duel to the death.
Yes you make total sense. We currently don’t own enough helmets, but have been talking about buying some for this exact purpose. Everything we do comes from our own pockets. Much respect for the effort that went into the fight scenes.
Not going to lie, thought this was going to be really naff, but the fight choreography was excellent 👍
nice video make a video on one hand sword ( curved sword ) vs two handed sword ( longsword)

Lol Evan has a high voice, soft spoken, but I think he sounds excellent for this particular project
Wasn’t Tom the one narrating the intro...? You know, “The king is dead” and all that jazz?
That wasn’t the narration. That was just the background voice.
