I started using this last week. My daughter has improved in spelling & writing instantly. She loves writing stories, songs& poems so I knew I had to give it a try.
I just printed the free download of this course and had it printed out. I am STUNNED by how phenomenal this course is!!! I prayed and prayed about what to do with my son next year and this is what the Lord really layed on my heart. He struggled to focus, but I'm truly praying this course is a blessing for him and helps him to thrive. I think he's going to love the check boxes and I love that the lessons are shorter and more concise than in older versions. It is INSANELY generous that such high quality curriculum like this is offered for free.
My third grader was buzzing through L3 and felt a little bored. Bumped her up to L4 before Thanksgiving and she is loving the challenge! I'm loving the cooking lessons, and I do art right along with her. This company is just so wonderful!!
I love how they set the lessons up. My son always wants to know how much he has to do. This is easy for him to look and see for himself. We will be starting level 4 sometime in the next year.
In the good and the beautiful flip through video she mentioned using the spelling and writting workshop books with 4th through 9th graders in their co op. I'm thinking of ordering another copy to use with my will be 8th grader next year. He hates writting and I thought this may make it more fun and simple. What are your thoughts since using it, for older kids who hate writting?
Thanks for the flip-through! We are currently using Fix-It Grammar and while we love it, I've been considering adding TGTB in to our LA for next year. After seeing it, I'm sold! We will definitely be using this!
I am so excited to use this new version next year with my daughter! My son used the old version last year, and though it was great, I love that this new version has more color, shorter lessons, and just looks more engaging. Thank you for sharing!
Next school year will be our first full year using TGATB. My Olivia will be on Level 4. Thank you for the preview of what is coming our way. Best of Blessings!
I did the old version last year with my oldest daughter and was half way through it this year with daughter number 2 when we switched to the new version. The new is by far better.
The LA course looks wonderful!! I ordered the math course. Seriously thinking about ordering the LA. Thank you for these videos. They are very helpful in deciding what to use for my homeschool.
I love the checklist style that they’ve started using in their books, my 7 year old loves checking the boxes when she’s done with a section & always has to see how much work she has to do each day.
Hi, thank you for sharing. We already use their handwriting, typing and creative notebook, tempted now to get my child to try their LA, it looks lovely. Where is the answer key now if it’s not at the back? I may need it, ;) x
I just received this level in the mail. My 5th grader tested at this level . She is so excited to switch from what we used for first semester. I’m so glad it is streamlined because 30 minute lessons is great. She can do the independent reading later in the evening.
I'm so in love with my level 2 math so I ordered two level 3 sets on sale and will grab two 4a's tomorrow and 4b when it comes out. We like it a tad long with lots of activities... I guess on 5 we will be in the new:). Plz encourage tgatb not to change too much. I just love it just as it is. ❤
Thank you for the walk through...we left TGAB after completing level 1 and tried some new things, because I wanted a more diverse curriculum. My son has never forgotten TGAB and he has repeatedly asked all last year and this year if he can please go back to his big book, I am leaning towards another curriculum and after seeing this I will share with him and let him watch your review and let him decide. Thank you.
I went ahead and ordered the K Primer and level 1 this week for my younger ones. I held out on TGATB for the diversity thing as well. But I've seen the changes in the new editions. It looks more inclusive. I honestly feel drawn to the All-in-one thing these days. I have to many kiddos and they have so many programs to get through just for language arts and it's only 1 me.
I am so excited for the new level 4. I love that the answer key is now separate and that each lesson can be done daily. We have been using TG&TB for 4 years now and love it as well. I also purchased those new books during their black friday sale ☺️
Excited for the new level 4, I did not like the old version of level 4... it just wasn't quite as good as previous levels. Super excited to use this new one!
I hear the writing and spelling book can be used for older kids as a supplement. I’m thinking of adding it to my daughter’s curriculum- she’s in level 5 right now, but is struggling with writing.
My sixth grader (this is the third year homeschooling) has done mostly master books math and language. It was great at first because she has some learning issues and it was a nice gentle start to homeschooling. We had to start at level 2 for everything even though she was in fourth grade at the time of starting homeschool. She made huge improvements and we moved quickly though some it and got “caught up” to the level 6 language book. We are still in level 4 math because we had to take a long time with other resources and learn some basics, including multiplication and division facts. I’ve kind of realized lately that the math and language doesn’t really have any rhyme or reason to why they are talking about what they are talking about and the difficulty doesn’t seem to increase. My preschooler is doing TGATB Pre-K book and we love it. I had my sixth grader take the language assessment off the good and the beautiful website, and It occurred to me while she was taking the assessment that we have been going over nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives for years now and neither one of us could remember how to identify them in a sentence. My daughter placed at level three on the assessment.I looked up the samples of the level three course and some of it ,I believe she would already know, but some of it I think will be really helpful to cover. My question is, should we do level three or should we try level four? I’m a little freaked out to put my sixth grader back at a level three program.
I'm excited for this. I really wanted to not like TGTB because it was so hyped 😂 But I'm not using Level 1, Level 5, a science unit and have plans to use High School year 1 next year. I love them so much!
I cant believe they are redoing the math already! I agree it was expensive, because it took me a while to be able to afford it. But i thought the boxes were going to last 2 weeks, so I was ok with that. But now I have to buy new next year. I also saved all my old workbooks for my younger daughter and just copied the pages for my older daughter to use, thinking I would save money. Now I have to buy the new versions anyways! I was a little bothered that my money saving didn't work out. But I am excited to see their new stuff!
@@mirandamccullough2774 It's so much cheaper too. I like knowing I just have it as well. May do the same with ELA 3rd/ 4th on free ship day 12/30. Woo hoo.
Do the readers from TGATB library match up with the LA? So, if my child is on level 4 of the LA, do they have level 4 readers to match at the same level?
Do you know if they will be updating level 5 or have done so already? We will be using that next year. I usually buy my curriculum quite early to avoid things being out of stock but will wait if they are planning on updating.
I'm not sure I like no longer having the answer key in the book. I guess I could print the PDF. I believe we are currently doing LA levels 2 & 4 (older versions) and loving them but I do look forward to the newer levels for next year if they are available for 3 & 5. Do you know if this levels writing component is like the creative companion where they do a lesson in each every day? That would seem like a lot if there's writing everyday unless it's steps of writing.
Hi Ashley, what do you recommend for kindergarten? My daughter turned 5 in November, so next fall she will be starting kindergarten. Do you recommend starting a curriculum or something simpler. I'm so eager to start TGATB lol.
Question: From TGATB Library, I am looking for the chapter book about dachshund’s? Cinnamon and something with spices???? I can’t figure out its name? Ashley, your Olivia read it in a Vlog but I watch all your videos and can’t figure out which one it was! Thanks!
I'm super excited about using this next year. Does it look like there is more writing than the previous version? The new level 3 has quite a bit of writing compared to level 2. Just curious 🙂

I tried the free GATB language arts printouts and my kids have really enjoyed them. I'm definitely going to purchase the next set.
I love how they set the lessons up. My son always wants to know how much he has to do. This is easy for him to look and see for himself. We will be starting level 4 sometime in the next year.

Ordering today!!

We used the older version and the lack of writing instructiom caused us to go woth another program this year. So glad they revamped it.
That’s what great about them. A newer company so they take feedback and make things just awesome!
We used the older version with Ava but Alister will use level 4 next year and I’m so excited for this new edition!!!
Hi new here and binge watching all your videos! Love your sweater!!

Score!
i saw your new level 5 video. will they be re -doing level 4 as a bound book style like level 5 ?
Thank you for the review! Always love your videos! Would it be possible to do an update on how your oldest is liking the Level 8 Book Studies?
She loves them!
Do you like that they took out the grammar and geography cards?
I actually love those so I will continue them!
Loooove this and can not wait for 4th grade with Scarlett!!
We've never used the LA...can you give input on if the newer one is much greater? would u wait for the new 5th or order the old one?
Thank you for the flip through!

Start there and move more quickly through it! Better to ensure she is solid and knows it!
What’s your nail polish color? It’s so pretty!
Thankyou, I’m not sure! Salon did them!
Thank you for this!
We will be using this next school year.

Since you have the manipulatives and it sounds like the workbook is blank, why not use it as planned?
@@ysk1729 it was only our first year using the math and it just seems like I should start them on the new version before we get to far along.
Buy the older version on sale now...its what I did bc we will already have the boxes. I'm stocking up for 3rd and 4th.

It's level 4... It's on TGATB web page under their books. Just do a search.
Pumpkin ginger and spice
Thank you @GraceandGrit ❤️🙌🏻
I can’t wait to order some new library titles from TGATB. I want the picture book from this video too!
Thank you for this review! I'm excited!
p.s. I love your nails. :-)

I’d say a bit more!
Are they revamping the math as well? Why was it on sale?
They are! More info to come!
Swoon!
