Mnet had four seasons of produce series(produce 101 season 1&2,produce 48 and produce X 101) which were basically the same type of survival show as this one(season 1 was in 2016) The produce series fall under a vote rigging scandal made by the producers in 2019 which caused massive controversaries. Basically,Mnet couldnt create a new show under the "produce'' title so they renamed the show to"Girls Planet 999''and changed how the show works a bit This show wont be produced by previous producers and this time around,it is informed that the police is closely watching the show process for no manipulation.Moreover,the voting is managed by a third party company and app,"Universe'',so its most likely that Mnet wont dare to rig the votes again under these circumstances Also,Mnet really likes to stir up drama with these kinda shows(the editing is really dramatic) and it definitely wouldnt be as wholesome as Chaung. Evil editing is another thing to be aware of.Mnet really likes to edit reactions of something into different scenarios and etc. All my unfiltered thoughts above are according to my previous experiences to the past produce series so if Mnet changed, it wont be that much relevant but since I've seen episode 1,I'm pretty sure their editing style stays the same. the hand-mouth girl you like in ending is Terasaki Hina from Japan, she is good at drawing manga, from her self-PR video. and this show is a new survival show from MNET, after their previous 4 seasons of Produce 101. watch them all, I'd recommend it, the show is so interesting also the groups produced were the top-notch in industry :D

This is a new show usually there is produce 101 but after a lot of conflict regarding the show, the outcome of the show and treatment of the trainees Korean decided to stop doing survival shows but i guess they (mnet) decided to bring it back that is what i have read anyway
