I don't live or have grown up in Southern California, so my perspective on Disneyland is probably completely different from yours, but what has always been important to Disney Parks to me is that they keep the "Magic". I want it to feel as "realistic" as possible. So I don't just want them to recreate New York or the Death Star and call it a day... If they do such a thing, I want them to make it feel like you are warping through space to get to that Endor section with the speeder bikes and ewoks giving paw-print autographs, or going through a warp-gate to get to Jabba's Palace to watch people play the pod racer game, skirt through the droid bazaar, or see a show with the Huts. Why don't they make marvel-land a "West Coast Avengers" Shield Base? technically in the comics, I believe West Coast Avengers are suppose to be in San Francisco, but all in all it fits with the theme "California Adventure". While with Star Wars,,, I just want to see them do something like have Star Gates, or make us go through some Building that blocks the other side, so it looks like we can be rapidly transporting fom place to place as we walk through the park? All that said... if Star Wars isn't going to be by Tomorrowland... then what are they going to do with Star Tours? Move it? I say that because that would open up room for another ride in Tomorrowland (Wall-E ride?..). I also wouldn't mind them remaking Toon Town to reflect Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts or maybe just the way the new upcoming Ducktales series might look. (But I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit, I still would want to see that still be around somehow, if not the ride, maybe update the ride a bit to reflect the world even better with modern tech)
Fin Fact: Autopia can't be removed because the plumbing for Nemo's Submarine Voyage is right underneath it and if Autopia goes Nemo goes down with it. So the only option would be to change to electric cars.
Fix Toontown, don't destroy it. They could just expand around it, maybe expand like in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. Take down the Fantasyland theater and build a Mickeys Philhar Magic and Beast's Castle. Built a Cinderella ride over the old skyway station. As for the area at Disney California Adventure, they should make it like a movie backlot and different movie rides like Marvel and Star Wars with set facades to go along with Hollywood land.
I never knew there would be a Marvel themed spot but someone said that Star Wars is already open since there's already character meet and greets and things like that but now I see it hasn't completely finish only showed the backgrounds on what would it be like or announce when it opens. I'm confused :/
PMW3 Personally I think Marvel should be its own park with minilands based on various MCU propertys, like "Asgardland" for Thor, "40's land" For Captain America and a 'cosmic land' area for Guardians of the galaxy and maybe have the helicarrier or Stark/Avengers Tower as the central park icon?
I would love to see them make a restaurant modeled after the diner from Attack of the Clones. You could have the "windows" be screens that projected the Coruscant skyline across the diner. This would give you views of the towering skyscrapers, as well as distant vistas of the Imperial Palace of the Emperor and the Senate Dome. Add in a few periodic Star Destroyers lumbering through the sky and squadrons of Tie Fighters and it would be an awesome place to eat.
Since now there's going to be a Star Wars land including Mickey and gang cosplay as the characters, maybe Disney should make a Mickey Mouse Star Wars parody featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (aka Mickey's older brother) I wasn't sure if Mickey would play as Luke Skywalker or Han Solo if Minnie plays as Princess Leia since Luke and Leia are brother and sister and Leia is lovers with Han so I don't know if Oswald could be Luke and Mickey could be Han while Minnie stays as Leia or Oswald could be Han and Ortensia could be Leia while Mickey stays as Luke?
+tiltheendoftim3 , i just think , i wont help disney any more with my thought,s , i just know that walt disney him self if he was a,live right now i wonder want he might think off this,s him self , and to apologize,s to fan,s on my bad behavior on line internet as well ,

Destroy Toontown? When did Kim become Judge Doom?
marvel land would just be a generic city but star wars land would be so fucking cool
Disney shouldn't make a Star Wars expansion to a park they need to make a new park completely for Star Wars that would be so cool
I love your T-Shirt. N7 4EVER!
***** N7Ever!!!!

Star Wars will be in Disneyland they are separate. They would mix well, but that's me idk.

Self driving open source cars, a collaboration between tesla, Google, and local motors
I think there is a lot of potential in a "Star Wars Land". But would "Marvel Land" be like? New York?

Disney + Marvel + Star Wars + LEGO!!

Plasmon19 Yeah, I think so.
ohdogwow2 The Disney Imagineers need to get onto this concept.
