    Thanks Dudes! Good luck on the lake. My Troll A Matic arrives tomorrow. This install video cuts down my homework a great deal. I'm expecting to haul in some more big walleye with this thing.

    Your brother in law was just shaking his head like, yea that sounds legit lol. I’ve never seen one of those, interested to see it perform and how it affects the motor performance

      Haha yep.
      Idol speed is now 1.7 mph (was 3.5) Top speed and launch doesn't seem to be affected. Boat gets on plane faster.

    Looking forward to getting an update for the on water results. Would also love to know if the plate at all hinders your top end speed or overall time to get out of the hole. Thanks for the great content.

    Hopefully this works for you. I’ve found that 2.0 seems to be my sweet spot on the north shore.

    • @LivinMNOutdoors
      @LivinMNOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      That's what I'm hoping for. I've had great luck at 2.8 - 3.0.

      @@LivinMNOutdoors I'm in CO trolling for walleye and we need speeds in the range of 1.3-1.4 so this should help me get there based on other comments on the Cabela's site.

    How did this work for you? Pretty good? I've heard that the trolling plate negatively effects handling.

    • @LivinMNOutdoors
      @LivinMNOutdoors  Год назад +1

      We love it. I haven't noticed any handling differences.

    So how about going in reverse? Is there a way to lock it up and still have reverse functionality?

    • @LivinMNOutdoors
      @LivinMNOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Reverse works as normal with the trolling plate in down position.
