Hey Lone Operator. About that DOU camp, I recorded a video of it from 2021 when I used to deliver stolen RLF trucks back in the day. I already uploaded it in my channel for everyone to see since I didn't find any videos about the old camp.

Back then I used to be one of those newbies who used to spam mountain in chat because I thought that was the only best way to grind, those were fun days.
I figured I might as well give a bit of info on the older locations and some stuff from Viper. -The Quarry and DOU base were the same as the other two mini-outposts. Small place, some RLF and either a truck or littlebird with some stuff that you could cash in for like 1-2k credits iirc. If you were lucky enough to get one with a littlebird, you could keep it, making it a nice way to get an early helicopter. -Mountain got revamped in Resurgence, with the old one having some bags (that my friends just called "drugs" because of the dialogue) that you could grab and bring back to the FOB's requisitions for like 500-1000 credits. That's why it wasn't in use when Resurgence started. -Old DOU sucked. -Naval and Fort Ronograd had some actual AA turrets that could be destroyed, the former also having a littlebird on the ship that had the same stuff on it as the one at the mini-outposts. -Ronograd City used to get raided every half hour, sporting an unreasonable amount of POD with mounted turrets, SAMs, and even enemy A-10s that would gun the city streets between each wave. Of course there's more that I've forgotten, but that's the main stuff that I feel like needs to be put out there.
In the missions from the mini bases the trucks had a nuclear core or something like that and the heli something like the municions box that are airdroped in locations after you cleared the enemies there and between raid phases, also kn the old naval base there was an heli and A.A turrets you had to destroy to retrieve it
I held my hand in a salute for these five minutes, considering I played during viper... and it started my love for this game... I cried about K.P. because I never had time to listen to his song, but I got the badge.
I didnt play blackhawk in so much time, when i hoped back on, i thought a few minor updates have passed and went to the desert area only to get show down hard by anti air.... I miss the old map.
Another revamped location was Fishermens Shore, which used to be socarian befor quests were added, it had a light house and a shop / pub you could go inside but other than that it was fairly empty. I do remember doing a load of RGE events there with my old faction as well. Also a good source for what aload of these locations looked like would be old live streams from a brm5 youtuber call Orandegello as he did all sorts of events at them with his viewers
1:23 ah man this was one of my fav bases, idk exacly why probly mostly bc when i started and i got abit better at the game naval and fort were still hard for me to raid. So i went there and i really like it
i miss when all the vehicles were completely free and you just got them by reaching high enough stars except when the a-10 hangar was closed for like an entire year, on my old computer i still have pictures of me in a chinook in the very first version of the game with the factory and the zombies
Good old days with the boys remembered when our pilot screwed up and almost killed us all in the heli because of he forgot to do a very sharp evasive turn to avoid AA confrontation yet he somehow flew pass the trucks and got severely hit lol
In my opinion the OG map should come back, The city now is so big and I would prefer the old map. WE NEED TO BRING BACK KP! TO ALL OG PLAYERS WHO SEE THIS, WE MUST FIGHT TO BRING HIM BACK!!!!
i remember the little bird boss on desert... legit my first encounter with it as a newb was a literal solo,a newb with ak47 against a little bird,it was fun while it lasted,i raided desert base alot, kinda sad when i found out it was gone the camp site u shown reminded me of another location near the FOB,unless u played before and during the 2020 halloween event,u wont care much abt it,it served as a location for the last quest that grant u the key to get aug a1,the gun on the art at the end of the video,i cheesed my way with the help of a 5 star player using an A-10 the location also bring back smth that only the very OG of the game wouldve remembered at all : zombies. back when the enemy was only some bald dude with black shirt and pant,we got zombie, they roam all around the city and is a common enemy that u would alway face the halloween event was the last time we ever saw zombie again. this video bring back alot of the good old memory i had, thank u alot for this gem of a vid.
As an OG, one location that I feel like should've been deserving of a mention is the factory from the early beta. That place is home to some of my first memories of playing BRM5.
I remember, back then the mini desert base with the helicopter, I remember doing a quest. Where I had to airlift a box of god knows what to F.O.B, and when I finished it, the quest giver said “You can keep the bird.” It was my very first, helicopter that I earned, it was the best thing, waking up and doing that quest to get the M-6 Everyday..
El Clara that place had so many memories, and im bummed by them removing city hall bacause as soon as you captured it defending it was so easy until the 2 helis landed on the roof and that was a adrenaline rush fighting those guys it was my favourite place on the map they could add it back and it wouldn't overlap on the already existing middle location of ronograd city.
I played when i was in 2nd grade(don't judge). I don't remember much but I remember a big warehouse with an exit and a vehicle spawner right next to it and then I remember going in a little bird and flying to mountain to grab bags from it. I don't know what version it was but I'm sad I stopped playing and forgot about it and missed so much. I started playing again a little bit before resurgence I believe, yet I still barely remember that. I remember when the new update came and the load out changed how it looked. Good times.
I loved El Chara and the mini outposts, El Chara was extremely fun and helped me get 5 stars. I'll never forget Operation Viper, I still Wonder where KP is, I still visit KP's house and just sit there sometimes to remember the good times.
I miss city hall. I miss El Chara and how me and my friend would switch off luring all the PoDs outside next to Red Barrel, and then exploding it for exp and cash...
The first time I had played BRM 5 was sometime before they added credits to the game, and you obtained stuff from leveling up. Not sure if it was because I hasn't looked around the map but I remember there being only one spot to raid and that was at a port of some sort. The details are still kind of foggy in my head but I'm guessing I first got in the game somewhere 2019-2020. Was hella different from what it was now, hell the only vehicle they had were 4x4 jeeps.
the last location was were i took my first brm5 screenshot back in like early 2020, thanks for the memories man

In the missions from the mini bases the trucks had a nuclear core or something like that and the heli something like the municions box that are airdroped in locations after you cleared the enemies there and between raid phases, also kn the old naval base there was an heli and A.A turrets you had to destroy to retrieve it
Real OG's remember the A10 that used to strafe ronograd back in like 2020-early 2021 and the old ronograd layout
the gym map, with the city hall....i remember the days when the fal is still op, and the game was truly fun...
I held my hand in a salute for these five minutes, considering I played during viper... and it started my love for this game... I cried about K.P. because I never had time to listen to his song, but I got the badge.
Same. I started playing near the end of viper and right as i got the lore and all the game became resurgence.
I remember the zombies in the old old times (not the halloween event)
U mean the first brm with bald red men?
I didnt play blackhawk in so much time, when i hoped back on, i thought a few minor updates have passed and went to the desert area only to get show down hard by anti air.... I miss the old map.
Another revamped location was Fishermens Shore, which used to be socarian befor quests were added, it had a light house and a shop / pub you could go inside but other than that it was fairly empty. I do remember doing a load of RGE events there with my old faction as well.
Also a good source for what aload of these locations looked like would be old live streams from a brm5 youtuber call Orandegello as he did all sorts of events at them with his viewers
"Bring me to mountain" boy i haven't heard that in a while...
1:23 ah man this was one of my fav bases, idk exacly why
probly mostly bc when i started and i got abit better at the game naval and fort were still hard for me to raid. So i went there and i really like it
Og player here: i miss KP i would just chill there with some friends back in the day, i still go to his hous and chill there and remember old times
My first time playing was so long ago i forgot what it looked like but i remember what was it el chara
Why was it lost to us
dude I used to grind on the quarry map and the el carra map. Good memories indeed
I to this day remember grinding from 0-3 or 4 stars at el chara. One of my best memories from the game n something they is always in my heart
i miss when all the vehicles were completely free and you just got them by reaching high enough stars except when the a-10 hangar was closed for like an entire year, on my old computer i still have pictures of me in a chinook in the very first version of the game with the factory and the zombies
This is brm5 what we want
Ohh men thats so nostalgic thanks for remembering me the old good times whit my Friends.
Shout out to the factory, true OG grind spot
They need to add an "OG" section in the game for what it used to look like pre-resurgence with modern systems. I wish I was there.
Im fell the nostalgia about old BRM5, and big raid of Old Fort
real og's will remember the first map with that one naval base
Oh man i remmeber when half the server was just at Kp's just listening
Good old days with the boys remembered when our pilot screwed up and almost killed us all in the heli because of he forgot to do a very sharp evasive turn to avoid AA confrontation yet he somehow flew pass the trucks and got severely hit lol
I was pretty small compared to now but i still remember the desert base used to go there alot
In my opinion the OG map should come back, The city now is so big and I would prefer the old map.
WE NEED TO BRING BACK KP!
TO ALL OG PLAYERS WHO SEE THIS, WE MUST FIGHT TO BRING HIM BACK!!!!
i remember the little bird boss on desert... legit my first encounter with it as a newb was a literal solo,a newb with ak47 against a little bird,it was fun while it lasted,i raided desert base alot, kinda sad when i found out it was gone
the camp site u shown reminded me of another location near the FOB,unless u played before and during the 2020 halloween event,u wont care much abt it,it served as a location for the last quest that grant u the key to get aug a1,the gun on the art at the end of the video,i cheesed my way with the help of a 5 star player using an A-10
the location also bring back smth that only the very OG of the game wouldve remembered at all : zombies.
back when the enemy was only some bald dude with black shirt and pant,we got zombie, they roam all around the city and is a common enemy that u would alway face
the halloween event was the last time we ever saw zombie again.
this video bring back alot of the good old memory i had, thank u alot for this gem of a vid.
As an OG, one location that I feel like should've been deserving of a mention is the factory from the early beta. That place is home to some of my first memories of playing BRM5.
I never got to try that map but i heard lotta people say they liked it and they hate plat5 for removing it.
I remember moving through the sewers of the old naval base (wayyy wayy back) and fighting zombies in the old town.
Long live the old Ronograd alley, miss the old SAMs on those BTR-152 looking things and the paratroopers
Goodbye El Chara we will miss you :( ( that was one of my favorite locations ingame)
omg i thought i was the only one who remembered the little bird boss
The first time I had played BRM 5 was sometime before they added credits to the game, and you obtained stuff from leveling up. Not sure if it was because I hasn't looked around the map but I remember there being only one spot to raid and that was at a port of some sort. The details are still kind of foggy in my head but I'm guessing I first got in the game somewhere 2019-2020. Was hella different from what it was now, hell the only vehicle they had were 4x4 jeeps.
The first map of BRM 5...
and when we all spawned in the hangar
None are forgotten for me
All are in our hearts
Back to viper it was another game, none locations stayed same...
Tbh ur right. Brm never was the same after viper. Fort, naval, village, mtn, quarry, and el chara all got changed in some way
