those family members always be showing that work ethic - it's not up to the new generation to apply that same work ethic to high yielding business models.
Isn’t build and release technically still dfy? How would you implement infrastructures into another’s business & systematize if it requires human intervention. Still DFY but on a more systemic level with less implementation costs right.
It’s still DFY just in a different way. With build and release you are doing DFY systems that can be used forever, which can be sold for a much higher price. A traditional agency would actually do the DFY services those systems teach. So build & release is DFY systems so you can scale and work on your own, while traditional is DFY work. The idea about that being better is mainly based on two things. First is that once you make those systems, they generally stay the same across clients as long as they’re in the same general niche and market. Yes you customize slightly to their business, but the overall playbook is the same. So you spend a lot less time on each client. The second is that once you do the work and setup that system for them they now have it and you’re done, you aren’t stuck doing it for them. Depending on your pricing offer you can make a shit ton of money. For example if you did a performance fee (like revenue growth), or even a fixed fee based on expected revenue growth, you can charge crazy high prices because of the value this gives (sets their whole business up for success)
