Whoever put this video together gets an F for failing to include the highlights that led up to the red card.
3 things I have to say:
- I officially don’t care that he’s a German legend anymore, please bench Hummels. His pace is our biggest liability, anyone with some decent speed would have caught up and made a tackle. Openda literally started jogging when he saw it was Hummels… the fact that we form our tactics around protecting Hummels lack of pace is embarrassing from Terzic
- Brandt is world class and our creative leader, Can is a disgraceful captain and Brandt should take the arm band
- Ryerson is absolutely crucial to our defense
1. Why in the hell would we bench hummels, yes he isn't as fast as he used to be but he is our most consistent defender. He makes a lot of successful tackles 1 bad game shouldn't be the deciding factor. You are being reactionary.
2. Brandt is a great player but he is not world class. He is still a bit inconsistent and has issues with ball retention and making proper passes at time. But still a crucial player for us and is called to the national team for a reason.
3. You are right, he is a much better defender than ramy for instance.
This is ridiculous for you to say. Didn’t you see him defending Newcastle and Milan. Even against PSG he was doing a decent job. World class defender who doesn’t need pace. One mistake and you turn on him all of a sudden and ignore all of his great performances before. Even Man City had problems dealing with Openda.

Presuming it was onside, really dumb decision from Hummels to dive in like that. Only positive I get from this game was the decent second-half performance and the fight at the end.
I know it's not as easy to get quality players as those from other leagues (despite what people who play FIFA career mode ignorantly recommend), but still some really shocking scouting that has bore rotten fruit.
Don’t disrespect Hummels for a tackle that really had barely any contact. Didn’t you see him defending against Newcastle and Milan? Also dortmund have the best scouting among any other team. Yeah this year it hasn’t been as great but don’t forget the players they turned into superstars.
@@edenbasnet428 I dunno how to explain that this game is separate from others. He's been one of our best players this season, so, really, he should've known better to dive in when that last man - he was never going to catch Openda.
Our scouting and recruitment has been poor of late. It's why Kehl and Zorc have received a lot of criticism. A few players turning into gems doesn't change that. Just look at the full-back situation that hasn't been fixed in years.
