Press Circle (2), Left(6)
Then hold L1 + R2 and press Start once.

Release all buttons and Hold Circle and press Start once

The information is all right but the video itself is slightly misleading near the end: Black Zero does not start the game with all of his special attacks (nor does it affect gameplay in any other way), but he's shown using them in the intro stage here.
this brought me a lot of childhood memories when i used to wake up in a saturday to play megaman X4 until my mom kicked me out of the room xD!

for some reason the black armor zero code doesnt work for me on the legacy collection on steam. anyone know what i might be doing wrong? i swear ive tried basically everything but i cant get it to work

How do you use the mtank? I have it. But it's not on the pause menu. I can't find it. But it says I have it when I save/load my save file. So i know i got it. But how do I find it to use it?

Just throwing it out there, you can get the heart on magma dragoon’s without using the web or going to the leg on the right.

The code to get the Ultimate Armor at least work in the japanese version?
almost, the only diffrence in the japanese version is that you must switch the x button for circle.. that's it, in japanese you use X instead Circle.

se desbloquea igual que como en el video, la diferencia es que debes usar el boton (X) en lugar de circulo (O), es decir, colocate sobre zero; presiona R1 y sin soltarlo oprime 6 veces la direccional hacia la derecha, suelta R1 presiona el boton X y sin soltar oprime start "sosten el boton X" hasta que inicie el dialogo el nivel.

In PC version, you will get Ultimate Armor for X by highlight X and hold *Down* button and select. For Black Zero, highlight Zero and hold *Up* button and select.

Just deleted this game. Not into dash-spamming or jumps that don't register. Maybe pre-2020 I would have more patience, but low stress is more important than game mechanics tailored to maximize playtime.
