Here's the issue: Tens of thousands of films similar to this one have been lost forever -- destroyed -- and many others are at risk. Our company preserves these precious bits of history one film at a time. How do we afford to do that? By selling them as stock footage to documentary filmmakers and broadcasters. If we did not have a counter, we could not afford to post films like these online, and no films would be preserved. It's that simple. So we ask you to bear with the watermark and timecodes. In the past we tried many different systems including placing our timer at the bottom corner of our videos. What happened? Unscrupulous RUclips users downloaded our vids, blew them up so the timer was not visible, and re-posted them as their own content! We had to use content control to have the videos removed and shut down these channels. It's hard enough work preserving these films and posting them, without having to spend precious time dealing with policing thievery -- and not what we devoted ourselves to do. Love our channel and want to support what we do? You can help us save and post more orphaned films! I'm nearly certain that the majority of the actors were professional actors serving in the USAAF. I recognized Gary Merrill and several others who I'm trying to identify. I would love to get a searchable title for this. Great stuff!!!
saw this somewhere else: they'd keep captured officers in "non-suitable" confines, such as with enlisted men, without food and water, or other due-respect type treatment for several days. The interrogation team would then make it a "big deal" to get the captured officer his proper treatment.
One of the instructors looks like Jack Gilford, but I think I am more sure the guy in Northern Ireland is Roman Bohnen who played Pat Derry (Dana Andrew's father) in The Best Years of Our Lives.

That is interesting. Sounds like a lovely place. What is the social scene like? Do they have nice pubs near the airfields or the armory? Don't be concerned, just chatting.
It would be interesting to see the training films that taught our guys (or anybody) anti-interrogation techniques. I imagine it would start out with a film like this one to show how easily prisoners can be manipulated or tricked, then the ways to keep your secrets or pass disinformation.
One Tip: Keep your lies simple; simple lies are easier to remember, especially, when you are under physical and / or psychological stress. The interrogator(s) will keep asking-you the some of the same questions, to see if your story remains consistent, or, if it keeps changing. If you're captured with at least one, other person, the interrogators will also try to see if your story, and your fellow P.O.W.'s story, are consistent with each-other.
It's an interesting question but as far as we can tell, there were none produced by the Axis. The USA and Britain's output of training films far exceeded those of either Germany, Italy or Japan.
@@zweb262 because an instructor cannot be in two places at once, and ephemeral media can run down the basic ideas to a large group and knock out some of the more common FAQs and save time when they finally start training with live instructors; which I'm sure happened. I doubt they only showed them a film reel like that and simply set them loose. Theories on why Axis powers wouldn't are: fear of film reels being smuggled out of the country, or not wanting to use dwindling oil reserves on manufacturing film.

What information could be gleaned from interrogating every former administration? There would certainly be some shocking revelations uncovered, especially if they thought they might be in danger. We might even find out the truth about all the extraterrestrials.
Can't read the translations with the timestamp. Video is useless. Luckily The Best Film Archives channel has the exact same video without the timestamp. It's an infinitely better channel because of that.

Wish the time-stamp overlay wasn't on top of the translations. Also- a bit too much cropped from the right side - cuts off some words.

Very good. Excellent !
In 10 years of RUclips, i have never heard the name of my city ,Rouen , said so many times.

I heard that they used to put German officers together in a bugged room and let them just talk. They got a lot of good intel that way.
Yep! And all Generals too!
It was called Trent Park in Great Britan
This is youtube gold!
Where are the pliers and needles ? It's not an interrogation without suitable accessories.
Where is the Comfy Chair?
