One of the best shows I’ve ever seen, hands down. Jeffrey Donovan alone is a brilliant actor and doesn’t get nearly the amount of credit he deserves
The way he was able to change his voice and dialects for the characters was super!
He does comedy, drama, action all super well. I love watching him in BN. Which makes me disappointed for his Law & Order role.
@@winorakunselman9421 yes he does all kinds of meta acting which is fun to watch.
@Max Power yea me as well... his role on L&O just doesn't seem to click for me.. I just have such fond memories of BN and who was as a character, even the Sicario movies... maybe it's the writing, maybe it's cause he'll never replace Stabler, but yea, misses the mark
I musta watched Burn Notice at least 8 times including watching the weekly releases when I was 12-13 now I’m 27 and I’m rewatching I can’t help thinking “damn Jeffery really can switch up on a dime and do so many different characters and still drop right back into Micheal” on that note Bruce Campbell was also on Jeffery’s level they carried that show with their acting chops alone forget the writing which also was superb
This is obviously Michael westen on another job as "Jeffrey Donovan"
His perfect "cover"
You r right!
luv burn notice!🙂
LMAO
Best show I've seen
That show is a very nostalgic piece for my life.
burn notice forever baby!🤗
I lived in Miami 40 years and have been to most every location they shot, even was in the building that housed their warehouse (office) and interior of mom’s house (Dinner Key Auditorium). A few years back, if you Google mapped buildings address, you could actually see Gabrielle walking out of the building and heading to her car. I used to keep our boat at the marina, the one you see while sitting in the cafe you see in many episodes. I really miss this show, have to put it right a the top of my favorites list. If you remember the last episode, the building that blew up was where I worked in the 1970’s... the Miami Herald newspaper. Wow, just writing this is causing a flood of memories, Miami truly was a “magic city”.
My husband and I are sharing all of these gems like , BN, Psych, White Collar, Leverage, etc. with our 12-year old. He watches 2-3 episodes a night.Burn Notice is his favorite.
If that was true you'd watch it again..
@@garyroy3503 what was the addresses is it still on google maps. My Aunt lives in Miami Coral Gables area. I was Born and raised here in FL. Back in my teen years & 20's me and my friends would always make a trip down to South Beach Miami on the weekends since we only lived 2 1/2 hrs away. Then I moved out to Cutler Bay area for 9 months. Love Miami just to crazy to live in. But perfect for a weekend trip tho
I have never thought of the fact that he WAS in almost every scene and he DID all the action shots, etc. I never consider how hard an actor like him has to work, b/c he makes it look so easy and seamless....One of the greatest TV series of all time, for me and many others. Love Jeffrey Donovan !
I would love a sequel series of Burn Notice. An older, less sharp Michael has to rediscover his edge once he is thrust back into the game.
And he's accompanied by a young dude who's basically on the same path that Michael went on. A badass spec ops soldier who got out and now works as a freelance spy; he's almost the same guy Michael was when he was in his twenties. Someone's capable but less experienced, less mature than Michael. This young dude came up during the War on Terror and hasn't yet learned some of the lessons that Michael has. He helps Michael get by in the modern espionage world but Michael also teaches him valuable stuff.
As he said, I couldn’t imagine the strain he faces on that show seeing he basically has to be in just about every single scene.
Y’all need to make this happen. I’m already thinking of scenarios of this idea lol.
just leave it alone
@@seanhastings4432 i vote for this one!!!! take my money PLEEEEAAASEEEE!!!
Burn notice was so good. It really was the right show at the right time. I'm watching through the whole series again on Prime and I still love it.
Same. Perfect for the time. Dexter 1st season feels the same. The show isn’t HD quality. But it just feels perfect
All of the USA Network shows at that time were phenomenal. Hell, most of network television was airing memorable series then. Makes me nostalgic for the mid to late 2000's (I sound old, don't I?)
The show was the cherry on top of the late 2000's, early 2010's.
Rewatching Burn Notice right now. I love this show
Same here. One of my favorite shows. 👍
Me three. I'm sure folks don't have DVDs anymore, except me. I have the entire series on DVD.
just finished it, and i absolutely loved it
Donovan is one the generations greatest actors. Super underrated.
Well, apparently he's gonna be one of the leads on the being resurrected Law and Order.
I was drawn to this show because of Bruce Campbell. Hell of a show. One of the best ever.
He is why I started watching.
He was, as always, awesome. But the ensemble cast was really solid. Even the addition of Jesse into the mix about halfway through the series worked well.
Not me. I was flipping through the channels and caught sight of Gabrielle Anwar!
@@nordan00 She never did much for me in terms of physical attractiveness. I love her character in this show, though. “Shall we shoot them?”
@@robertbusek30 Yeah, if I had seen a season 6 episode, or whichever one she spent half the season in the can in, I’d have never watched the show! For some reason, she looked considerably less attractive in ‘prison.” But in the other seasons, I found her extremely hot, especially that body! Well, it’s a good thing for the human race that men are attracted to a wide range of female body types and facial features!
I lived in Miami over 40 years and have been to most every location where Burn Notice shot. I was many times in the building (Dinner Key Auditorium) that housed their warehouse (office) set and the interior of mom’s house. (Trivia: It was the same building where Jim Morrison dropped his pants and was arrested in 1970’s. We were one of the warm up bands that night).
A few years back, if you Google street mapped DKA address, you could actually see Gabrielle walking out of the building and heading to her car. I use to keep our boat at the marina, the one you look at while sitting in the cafe (Carilito’s) that’s seen in many episodes.
I really miss this show, have to put it right at the top of my favorites list. If you remember the last episode, the building that blew up was where I worked in the 1970’s... the Miami Herald newspaper.
Wow, just writing this note is creating a flood of memories, Miami truly was a “magic city”.
Cool story. I was a North and Central Florida guy... who had family in Ft. Lauderdale. Back in the 80s, (teenager) I viewed Miami as a drug den. Probably drastically overstated. When I actually visited the place as an adult in the 2000s, I loved it. Cool architecture. Great food (warm milk at breakfast though... yuck). Absolutely drop dead beautiful women... or so my wife says. It’s fun being in an elevator and hearing 4 or 5 different languages spoken.
So you were spying on them
Thanks for sharing your story. I'm planning to one day visit Miami and see some of the the Burn Notice shoot locations.
Cool story! I love Burn Notice as well...(can't you tell by my channel? lol)
More importantly though...Have you ever seen Crockett's '86 Scarab in action??
Gotta ask, what kind of boat?
Whenever I watch reruns they put me in a special place mentally. It’s like seeing old and very good friends again. I’ve never felt that way about any other TV show.
This exactly
Oh yesss
Well said
Same. My favourite comfort show now
Tv actors are so underrated. This man deserves an Emmy
I feel so sad burn noticed ended
Only show to 1-up MacGyver. If you look closely, BN made a lot of references which were a tribute to it.
burn notice is my top favorite tv show ever, ill never get tired of watching old episodes🙂
@@SacredDirt yeah, but burn notice is way better than it
@@marcellbrollem1233 i do this every year too haha
@@SacredDirt Remember when Stargate made MacGyver references? lol. That was priceless.
Burn Notice is perfect though. Def my new fav show.
Burn Notice is my favorite show of all time, and it would be so sick to see a sequel of the show. Long live Michael Weston, Fiona Glenanne, Sam Axe, and Jesse Porter!
My grandpa always had burn notice on when I got home from school and I watched as I did homework. It was always on around the time I got out of school. Great show, great memories. He is gone now but everytime I think of this show, I think happiness
sorry for your loss brother. Burn Notice is really incredible
My wife and I didn’t watch it when it came out, but are now into the third season, and are totally hooked. Glad we finally checked it out, because there’s not much we care for these days.
Bring burn notice back!!!! Make tv great again
Mtga!!!!
No it wouldn't be the same since his mom and Nate is dead
@@tonyacosta4574 Nate was a pain the ass, I have never been so happy to see the end of a character. His mom was great though. Still, they could do a show just fine if they get all the rest of the cast.
@@alanfrost75 that's what brothers are about sure he a pain in the ass but that's his brother and they loved each other
Would love for Burn Notice to come back.
Easily one of the most likable characters ever put on TV, and a lot of that was down the lightheartedness and charm of Jeffrey Donovan.
The james bond of television!
Like Chuck Bartowski
Still one of my all time favorite shows. I've rewatched it as a whole at least once and season 7 at least three times. Work of art with so many beautiful moments.
Season 6*
ill never get tired of watching old episodes!🙂
@@princitim3264 Season 7*
@@princitim3264 how do you know what season he rewatched???
Those are rookie numbers. I’m on my 10th rewatch of full show
Massively underrated.
And shame on the does not featuring a compilation of "Ask a Spy" segments!
My bf and I were sold on the first episode. We just happen to catch it on tv on a Saturday on channel 13 (upn) literally season 1 ep 1. After that we were glued and binged watched all the seasons. Its still a great show that was underrated by some which I cant understand why.
Mo it’s underrated because it’s low budget and not on a major network
Imo this show has the perfect most underrated power trio. I don't think anyone could of known how well they'd all play mike, fi, and Sam together. The three of them just complimented each other so well.
My name is Michael westen i use to be a spy ... ( 2019 ) still watching

One of the greatest series ever forged. I own the entire series boxed set, including the Fall of Sam Axe film, have read several of the tie in novels, my parents have watched the entire series at least a dozen times since it started streaming, and I’ve enjoyed introducing it to my nephews recently.
God I miss Burn Notice Michael, Fiona, Sam and the rest. The enemies and allies, it was a great show makes me yearn for adventure!!!
Jeffrey is such a humble celebrity. He is a very talented & underrated actor. 😎✌
“And then when it wrapped, I just cried”
You and me both, bro. Burn Notice got me through a lot of deployments.
I loved Fi. She was so smart and hot. And Sharon Gless is fantastic.

Alona Tal should have been Fi ;)
@@TheJudoJoker Nahhhh Alonaa is hot, but she's no Anwar
@@egdapo I'm sorry but I disagree about as much as one can disagree
@@TheJudoJoker I agree with egdapo. Gabrielle is far better looking. Alona is pretty, but in a quite standard, almost generic way.
I LOVE him in Burn Notice, yes. The legendary Michael Westen. The true modern A-Team and MacGyver combined.
My favourite tv show. How I loved following it year after year until the end... will always miss you Burn Notice.
Loved this show! Rewatching the series on Hulu. The writing was so well done and the appearance of rare guest (Example:Burt Reynolds)was a surprisingly addition. Would love a reunion special to give more closure to all the main characters and provide a "who's happier now" type of picture.
You made my entire childhood. I thought the commercials were so stupid when I was a kid and i watched one episode on accident after Monday night raw and I was hooked. I binge watch the entire series every year since.! We love you! Thankyou for the amazing years! you’ve earned a life long fan starting over 10 years ago! Can’t wait to meet you one day. I’ve watched everything you’ve been in since then!
He it is 2021 and I'm still rewatching this show!
Greatest show ever! It was different, entertaining and had something for everybody of many ages.
No one nailed a character like this man and Michael Westen
He needs to do another show because he's a great actor and his stage presence is about precision... I just hope he does a series where he can capture an audience once more... I have no words to describe how meaningful 'Burn Notice' was and still remains... everything about it is glorious when it comes to television.
Plain Simple you should check out shut eye on Hulu. Jeffrey is the main character. Only has 2 seasons but it’s amazing
He played in season 2 of Fargo. That was good
I just binge watched all 7 seasons for the millionth time In 2021
This guy is already 50 but he looks like 35.
Yougurt will do that to you
Omg his wife is so young, she can be his daughter.
He still looks like he is in his 30's when he was in Burn Notice
@@shannonsackett440 He was 32 when in Blair Witch 2, and that was 21 years ago.
He stays in really good shape, you can tell he's starting to grey though. Actors are paid to stay in great shape if they want to continue getting more work.
His performances in the 2 seasons of "Shut Eye" and "Fargo" were fabulous.
The greatest show to ever be aired
One of the most underrated shows of all time
He said he made lifelong friends in Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless. What about Gabrielle Anwar?
@Brittany Waiters Nevitt or it’s possible they didn’t amount to anything. No falling out, just co workers till the end
Gabrielle probably wouldn't take his crap and he probably didn't try to pull any crap with the other two
@@RH-tv9hk To what kind of crap are you referring?
@@Smitty300 All that comes with having a big ego. There have been a few stories. You can't trust everything you hear, but where there's a lot of smoke there's usually fire
@@RH-tv9hkQuite wrong here RH. Jeffrey is very down to earth - same for Bruce and Sharon.
The real question to Jeffrey would be would he ever consider doing a reboot of the show? At least one or two more seasons, cause season 7 wasn't really a season. It was just one really long episode broken into pieces. Plus with the way the show ended they could definitely bring it back for another season or two maybe even more. I also feel the same way about white collar.
Neal Cafferey back from Paris would be amazing too.
@@mcmjr405 True! I don't know if you saw the White Collar cast reunion online from about a week ago. Matt did say that he was talking with the creator of the show about bringing it back. But just like Jeffrey on Burn Notice, they both said in their own way we've had conversations about it off and on so we'll see. But the translation of that really means, let's see if a network will pick us up and wants to spend the money to do so. It all comes down to money and if they're getting enough feedback from fans asking for a return. There are some popular shows from the recent past that don't get a lot of feedback from fans. So a lot of Networks don't feel it's necessary to spend the money and go through all the changes for a reboot when no one is asking for one.
Hard to continue after that inevitable last line.
My All time Favorite Show-i have done season 1 to 7 five times now. I had to give my Son the name Westen. The way he could act all those characters was just out of this world.
I have all the episodes, I still rewatch them from time to time! I love it!!
Absolutely without question, loved Burn Notice.
"Easy peezy!" -The Bruce
Burn Notice was a modern day, real life, humble, Batman.
We need this show back! My fave show and I cried my eyes out when it ended! Love you Jeffery!!
Mr.Donovan, we came from the same background. I'm glad you made it big.
Also, to you it was a job but, when this series launched the economy was trash, reality TV was on every channel every hour and my life was "crap". Your show gave me something to look forward to each week. A release from the daily mental grind. Thank You
I didn't see this when it originally aired on cable. But when reruns began popping up on OTA television in 2017, I was instantly hooked. So I bought the boxed set! And I have binge watched the whole series several times now. It never gets old. Is there any higher praise for a series? A smart story from beginning to end, delivered by an exceptional cast, writers, and directors. All involved should be very proud.
Great actor loved the show sorry to see it end
Bring Burn Notice back!
Best show ever! (With a few other)
I watch this shows full series every year.
I just started watching it again. What a well done show.
Rewatching the whole series every year helps lol
@Regina Filangi I'm already started to rewatch it again, because Michael Westen focus Motivates me to work hard at staying focused on task lol, That might sound ms a little crazy 😂
@Regina Filangi lol I honestly don't know though lol, I do know this, I know this is kinda changing the subject a little bit, but when Rockstar games releases a new GTA Game, hopefully Modern day Vice city, you already know who my custom character is going to be based on 😂🤣😂🤣
@Regina Filangi of is a video game, that's open world like game, GTA (Grand Theft Auto), is a game where you play a character that is a criminal and with story, GTA Vice city is a fake Miami, so now you kinda understand lol
@Regina Filangi I understand you lol, Vice city is based off of Miami, So when Rockstar Games create a new GTA game with modern day Vice city, because the previous Vice city is in the 80s Miami basically, hopefully next game is a modern day Miami, and when I create my character, I'm going to base him of Michael Westen lol😂, now you understand lol,

My favourite TV show, I love Burn Notice and its cast. Thank you so much for your awesome performances.
I saw a show just recently (name escapes me- senior moment here) where Jeffrey Donovan played a corrupt bad guy.
He’s an incredibly talented, versatile actor, but Burn Notice is what he’ll be remembered for.
My son watched it when he was college age, liked its format which prompted him to write and publish a novel, Bullet City using the same format.
I remember when I was in college back in 2012 or 2013 I always watched Burn Notice I just couldn't get enough of it. I really love Donovan in The Blair Witch Project 2

I thought it sounded like such a stupid idea for a show _until_ I caught a rerun one night. *I was hooked.*
I'm now rewatching all 7 seasons on DVD.
It breaks my heart that this perfect tv show never won an award. Jeffrey deserves a lot of credit for his amazing acting. And it annoys me that BN is not talked about much. There is no tik tok or yt reels even though it is such a wonderful thing. I don't understand why 💔
Best show ever made. Most well rounded cast out there.
God damn I miss this show I was devastated when I ended I so so so wish they would bring it back
Broke my heart a little when he mentions life long friends in his mom and Sam but not Fiona? :(
