Tried to play Chrome Tour X but felt horrific off the putter. Like a hollow feel, i dont get that issue with left dash. Does this ball feel the same or has there been an improvement in feel in this ball? I hope!
What are the characteristics of a "forgiving" or "less workable" golf ball? The idea of a "forgiving golf ball" is very appealing to me, but there seem to be different camps regarding what makes a ball stay straighter given the same club delivery. Callaway and MyGolfSpy seem to think that "low spin" balls (e.g. Chrome Soft and TM's Tour Response) fly straighter than high spin balls....presumably because lower spin with a tilted spin axis would curve less? Any clarification on this would be appreciated.
@ ball striking and scoring two diff things! One could be great ball striker and the absolute worst chip & putter making him a 10/12hcp, then u have a guy that can buy a fairway hit but has excellent short game that’s a 5hcp! So in gist saying it for 5hcp and lower is kind of a farce or myth!
I wunder “ if Johnny feels like these videos are a little much? Perhaps Callaway is outdoing even themselves with the launching of all these new products.
It looked like the pile of balls closest to the monitor was the x. A couple of times you pulled a ball from that pile and counted it as the 3d. However, you were actually looking at the ball so I could be wrong.
I think Callaway are just taking golfers for absolute fools… what was this video? The iron spin was the exact same. The one ball with CT X that was higher spin ball was clearly faded and struck low, which JW even commented on, to then call that “oh let’s call it 300rpm less”, what? I highly doubt the talent in the R&D department test balls like this. And then off the driver? No club head speed data leaves a lot of wiggle room for misrepresentation of ball speed numbers, as well as shots that, IMO, were struck either better or higher in the face, which is more likely the cause of the spin reduction. It’s a disgusting trend of a once highly reputable golf company… I can’t imagine how the talent in the R&D department feels when they see this type of marketing from their own company…
@ you are correct sir, Johnny is alright, and he’s being made to spew this tosh, when we know that Johnny is actually much more intelligent and knowledgeable than he is being portrayed in this below par marketing video… it’s like driving a 500bph car in first gear
With all the more distance balls and drivers each year. We should be up to 600 to 700 yard driving distance by now

Played the Chrome Tour ball for most of 2024 and loved it. Interested in testing the TD.
Wow triple diamond ball with the driver is crazy
Wow impressed! I still have 3 dozen chrome soft! I am 2 iterations behind now!
Can’t wait to try these golf balls. The tour x is my favorite
Finally a major OEM challenging the left dash product cat
Beast off the tee holy moly
Great video
Callaway's response to the ProV1x left dash?
My first thought
Yes. Thats what they said.
Only one they couldn't beat in their comps vs other balls last year.
Please release the chrome tour dot. Thanks.

Interested in what the decent angle difference was between the two balls tested in this video.

Now i don’t know if I should switch to this or stay with regular chrome tour 😩
Is it lower spinning then the chrome tour or does it sit in between?
How is green side spin?
I’m a left dash guy, will this be its counterpart?
🔥
What about letting just an avg golfer test these?
Agreed, real world testing required IMO. Get an 18, 10, and 4 handicapper to test and show the results.
@@bracktp2021he’s most likely a 4-10 handicap and mid 40’s it’s a fair review lol
@kennyandrade7868 yeah man, more to just get an overview of how the ball performs across the handicap range 🤙🏿
It’s for 5 handicaps to plus.

Too bad I already bought 4 dozen left dash. Maybe a sleeve to compare. 😅
How do these compare to the Chrome Tour?
Exactly my thoughts

Where does chrome Tour fit in now
How greenside spin

He's not making you buy any though😂 not really sure what the problem is, Johnny's alright, just a quick overview video.
