    Texas rig or drop shot that thin worm should get bit no problem. I'd also suggest some red or purple glitter in that light green bait. This was super cool and hopefully it can be done on a large scale.

      Thank you! Currently working on a third test with all of the suggestions. I will try that out.

    Those things look nearly rock-hard.
    It's the action and presentation of the lure that you would be primarily relying on to get bites when fishing for bass, not the flavor.

      They are pretty “gummy like” in texture. I agree. Next I need to work on the way they move in the water.

    Do they start dissolving when they hit the water? How long do they last after the first cast?
    This is very cool! Keep doing it!!

      Yes but it’s very much like a gummie bear. They stayed on the hook for quite awhile with 50+ casts. Thank you! I will be making an update video soon so stay tuned! 😀👍

    Maybe lay the hook inside of the mold with the barb sticking out and pour the mixture on that...the hook will be molded inside of the mixture?? Just a thought😁😁

    I think you might be able to use corn tassel's or even chopped grass. To help bind the lures. Of course your could also try sea weed.
    Just a thought. Would like to see these items scaled up and made available to all fishermen.

      Thank you! I recently tested out some nori. It helped a bit but not quite a homerun as of yet. I’ll do an update video soon.

    What did you add to stop them dissolving in the water

    • @Aquapparel
      @Aquapparel  4 года назад

      Glycerol but I need to find something better because after some more research it looks like there is a few better options. Still looking into this.

      @@Aquapparel when I did fx makeup we used to use a mixture of 2 parts gelatin 2 parts glycerin and 1 part honey so it didn't melt when the actor sweats I don't know if this would work

    You did use, Eco-friendly glitter right?
    Because most people don't know but glitter is very bad for the environment!

    • @Aquapparel
      @Aquapparel  4 года назад +1

      Yes, edible glitter so it disolves in water.

    Add blood meal. Find it under plant fertilizer.

      What do you think would work best? My friend’s son was helping me. I don’t really go fishing ever, I mostly stick to nerdy aquarium type of stuff 😀

      @@Aquapparel a whacky rig is my go to for soft plastic worms. But there are numerous ways to setup the bait. A quick search on RUclips can help with ideas. You'll find that it's all very situational. I've been working on a biodegradable replacement too. It's super fun to fish and not worry about the plastic getting the fish sick.

    How about the hairs from corn 🌽 cobs, or human hair♥️♥️♥️You could revolutionise the environmental impact of angling world wide, if you took this idea to market💪💪💪🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️

    • @Aquapparel
      @Aquapparel  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! It’s gotta be edible and not harmful to the fish. I gotta research the corn idea but I think the human hair would be a problem for the fish.
