I am speechless!! And I can never talk enough about the wallflower series its so much fun I have read many of the books you have mentioned and all of them are so much fun especially when a scot ties the knot it's one of my all time favorites
I read secrets and I was disappointed because I read the bride excellent story. Ram son was good but her best book is For the Roses 🌹 marvelous book . The story is in New York City 🌃 No England. The story is about a baby found in a garbage can by a group of homeless boys who take her to west. A family who received the children and the baby a female raised her. You will cry 😢 with them and laugh 😂 with them. Run to buy the book and you will not regret. The books is keeper in my library.
A great spinster romance I haven’t seen anyone recommend is Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas. He’s also a self made man so it would fit into that trope as well.
I loved the Wallflower series!! I have been reading a lot of J. S. Scott books, on #8 of the Billionaire series. Great love stories, but definitely not for youngsters!
Glad to see some love for Kate Bateman! Other under the radar Regency writers to check out: Scarlett Scott if you like steam, Adele Clee if you're into mysteries, Emma Leech, Emily Windsor, Merry Farmer, Tracy Sumner, Chastity Bowlin
I love Historical Romance with Mystery. I LOVE Amanda Quick books! All of them. But if I had to choose, I would say " Till Death Do Is Part". Romance, murder mystery, and 🔥 times all in one!
For Scottish romance, I recommend the first book I ever read by Teresa Medeiros, A Whisper of Roses, if you haven't already read it. It is my favorite of hers. I've not read all of her books, but many. It was published first in 1993, but looks like she published again in 2019.
I read a second chance romance called The Surrender of a Lady by Tiffany Clare. I was given it as a gift for my birthday one year. It was written in 2010.She's English, but is sold at auction in Constantinople(modern day Istanbul),Turkey to pay off her late husband's gambling debts and save her young son. When in the harem she goes by a different name just to survive. All the rich lords want her favors. She's bought by her old flame for a short time, but he risks everything in a bid to make her only his. I like it and hope you will, too. Happy Reading!!!!!
A week to be wicked by Tessa Dare is not really a spinster romance (but please read it anyway because it's one of my favourites of all time!). Minerva is like 21 in there, which isn't very spinstery but she has a vibe of a spindter I guess. Even Colin says at the end that she is so young 😅✨
love your recommendations 👏😊 currently reading Surrender to the Devil by Lorraine Heath, it’s so good, it has the class difference trope 👍👏🥰 will read about their daughter next in When the Duke was Wicked
I read My darling duke that you recommended on a video and I'm so obsessed. I love Stacy Reid so much. You should read When the earl met his match by Stacy Reid. It was so good! It made me cry and i rarely cry. I never read historical romance before because i thought the language would be hard to understand. But it's not. I think it depends on the author though. Now historical romance is my new favourite genre! I also read When a scot ties the knot and i loved it too. It was a fun read!
Oh i love Stacy Reid hr novels.. I'd read them all😍 her hr novels are bit short compared to other hr (30+ chapters) but all are wonderful , heartfelt and fun to read🥰.
I would like to know if you have read any Donna Fletcher. The warrior king series was amazing. I think by you other recommendations you would like it. Historical Romance is my only genre i read.
hii helloo! can someone recommend me a period romance that isnt cringe? personally i hate when the romance is a fast burn, but at the same time i like the typical jane austen esc dramatic love confessions so help, anything like a modern jane austen would be great
Okay, okay, am I the only one who does not enjoy The Secred? I mean I like the plot, but the way it's written? It's like... A bad fanfiction, I couldn't finish it and I really wanted to like it. ):
Never seduce a scot was the first historical romance I read and then then there was no looking back....
I just picked up that book 👀🤭
Yay!!
I just finished reading it and I don't know what to read next 😭
I am speechless!! And I can never talk enough about the wallflower series its so much fun I have read many of the books you have mentioned and all of them are so much fun especially when a scot ties the knot it's one of my all time favorites
A Loud Yes on Julie Garwood. I've cleared basically her whole catalogue. I can't get enough of her Scottish romances. Definitely get on that.
Definitely!

Just read "Again the magic" for the first time and loved it! Didn't really care for her sisters love story but everything else was perfection.
I felt the same way about the sister’s romance!
