  • My name is Bobby and I'm theletterisb. Now what is theletterisb all about? I've created this channel with the intention of creating the very best video editing tutorial platform on RUclips. I'm sick and tired of all these boring, not straight to the point and way too long editing tutorials that we have to click through, just so we can get a little bit of educational value out of it.
    For this reason I decided to do it the right way. Create short, exciting tutorials, teaching you the very best techniques to create professional video content.
    But wait there is even more to talk about! This channel has evolved into so much more than just editing tutorials. At some point within my career I decided that I would like to use my acquired skills as a teacher, and share all my knowledge as a consultant when it comes to filmmaking, video editing, productivity.
    With this vision in mind and I'm planning to release a lot of exciting content in the future. I'm Bobby and I'm theletterisb.

    I read the comment below and I'm sorry you gave up your Vegas Pro tutorials. One way you created your audience based on Vegas users, and now there will be no such videos anymore. Too bad😏

      As I said I covered almost everything you can do with VEGAS Pro and I'm not interested in making the same old tutorials over and over again explaining how to mask. We all need to grow, develope new skills and follow our passion. I know I will lose some of the viewers and I know I don't have the best views right now but whatever, I rather create something I enjoy and slowly build a new audience and maybe can convince some older subscribers to make the switch as well as to stick to something I don't enjoy doing. That's why many channels just die because they try to please their community to the max but get more and more frustrated about doing the same thing over and over again. At the end the viewers will recognize that the creator is not passioned about the things he does anymore and they will leave him behind. It's good to make content the community enjoy but always listen to your heart and your passion first.

      Thanks a lot Eliya! I’m super happy that I was able to help you with my tutorial. I do appreciate that you took that time of your day to write this kind comment. It really means a lot to me! Even though a lot of people say that but don’t actually mean it, I’m thankful for any kinda support from deep down of my heart. That’s also the reason why I’m trying to answer every comment I get, even when they become a little repetitive from time to time. I hope you gonna stay part of this awesome community and keep posting these cool comments! A lot of people underestimate just how much „just being active“ actually helps the content creator. Stay healthy and have a great one!

    Hey man! I hope you're doing alright with this whole "Covid-19" situation. I sent you an important e-mail, could you check it out?
    Yet again, another amazing tutorial. I hope that you'll eventually get the amount of subscribers and views you deserve.

    Can you make more tutorials on Sony Vegas please?

    • @theletterisb
      @theletterisb  4 года назад +1

      No, because I covered all essentials that you need to know about Sony Vegas/VEGAS Pro already. If you want to know the exact reason why I switched to the Adobe suite please read my reply to the comment from "Shines Fox" under my video "How To ANIMATE Text Based Logos In After Effects UNDER 4 Minutes". I pinned his comment so it's easy to find.

    Danke erstmal für die Baba Tutorials! Hab jetzt jahrelang mit Sony Vegas gearbeitet (Hobbymäßig). Lohnt sich der Umstieg auf Premiere Pro?

      100% hier mein Statement zu meinem Wechsel auf ein anderes Kommentar. Appreciate the love Fox but I'm sorry to disappoint you. Here's my statement to this already many asked question. To be honest there are not going to be any new VEGAS Pro tutorials. I think I covered many of the most essential tools and effects on this channel, and making tutorials about VEGAS Pro just for the sake of doing to tutorials is pointless to me. Of course there might be some effects from time to time that are worth a tutorial but it mainly comes back to the essentials I already explained in many of my previous videos. For a viewer this might be hard to understand when they come to their favorite channel and expect the person behind the content to create the one thing that they enjoy over and over again, but for me as the content creator I want to move on and create something new that I'm passioned about it. That's why I decided to do a lot more Premiere Pro, After Effects and whatever software might join later, tutorials as well as other educational content that is relevant for becoming a better editor, creative and business person. I think I have so much more knowledge to share than just the same old text animation tutorials. Another reason why I won't create any VEGAS Pro tutorials is simply because I switched to Mac and the Adobe cloud. I was facing so many crashes and random problems with my Windows pc until the computer itself stopped working as well as errors within VEGAS Pro. Don't get me wrong I will always love VEGAS Pro because I started using it back in the days when it was called Sony Vegas 7. But I also want to work with more clients in the future and for this I need a stable work environment that allows me to edit 4K or anything more complex without any crashes. Of course you could install Windows on a Mac but I'm not going to do so. To finish of this already way to long answer I just want to give you a tip for the future. If you are planning on just doing some basic edits here and there and nothing to complex then stick with VEGAS Pro! It's great for it. But anything that will be focused around motion tracking, 3d elements, motion design, proper color grading and working with many different file formats in general the Adobe cloud is the way to go. I could right a whole essay why I think Premiere Pro and After Effects especially are better than VEGAS Pro. Just the fact that creating and sharing effect presets is so much easier gives Adobe a huge advantage over MAGIX. I hope you might be open for new things as well and still stay part of this amazing community! Because as I said I have so much more to share. If not you can at least always come back to your favorite VEGAS Pro tutorials! And I will gladly try to help you with any of your future questions within the comment section. Have a good one.
