I like your very detailed evaluation that you balance so well with the amount of speaking so that your presentation never gets bogged down in the detail! I like green ink, too!
This reminds me of my Kensingtons. I'm pleased to see Filofax experimenting with larger rings on personal size. Hopefully the flatability will improve over time. Great presentation, and fabulous thumbnails! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for your kind comments! It is already laying flat, it didn't need much training to do so. I'm not sure what stiffener they use inside the planner, but it seems to have been "pre-bent" around the spine and after laying open on my desk for the last 2 weeks with paper, it stays completely flat by itself. Also, the flap closure stays mostly out of the way, too. I really can't stand when they close back in over themselves over the inserts and get in the way of writing. Thanks for watching!
@@StephenieSays Hi, nice review, thank you! I love the ruler match the color! I was wondering how it is with the leather smell after few months? I am curious, because when i've got my Filofax in leather at first i even had doubts it is real leather. It was rather kind of plastic smell, so i thought it was plastic, Lol. But after few months using it every day the very nice pleasant leather smell opened up and now i am addicted to it, it smells really good.. Magic.. Do you have the same experience with this one of yours?
I was considering looking for a Norfolk because of the 30 mm rings for the Personal size. However, seeing it in a shop IRL made me realise that I find the organiser too narrow, as you seem to also think (at around 14:15). I have made my own dividers with the tabs on the side and I don't think they would sit/fit right in Norfolk. I could make new dividers with tabs on the top and/or bottom, perhaps. But I think I'd prefer a bit of a 'looser' fit around the pages. Thanks so much for sharing this video. You picked a gorgeous colour and Norfolk is really beautiful. It's been a year since you uploaded this video. Are you using Norfolk a lot?
This planner is stunning! I went to the US website and there is a green Norfolk that is named "Sage." Is this the one you are showing? Yours looks like it is a more saturated green, which I prefer. Perhaps it is your lighting?
Hallo, tolles Video, der Kalender ist ja der kracher. Ich habe mir diesen auch gleich bestellt. Ist zwar teuer aber diesen kauft man sich auch nicht täglich.
Thanks for the overview! The colour (and matching ruler) is gorgeous, and I like the look of those new inserts, but it has too many pockets for me. I'm a huge Original fan so maybe they will do it in this colour at some stage. 🇬🇧
It sure seems like everyone is ordering the sage in this binder, so they may just roll it out to the other binders as well. It's a beautiful color, and I think quite "season-less", i.e. works great for spring/summer or fall/winter. Thanks for watching!
@@StephenieSays I asked a couple of years ago if they were bringing out the A5 folio in the stone colour, and the answer was no. This year guess what they brought out... if enough people ask they (sometimes!) listen. And you need the Tombow in colour 192 to complete it, with the green-black Sarasa 😄
Looks beautiful, and the colour is stunning. I love the idea of 30m rings but have a few Kikki K's with these size rings and just find them a little too bulky. I've had over fifty filofax's and other ringed planners over the last 8 or so years, not to mention all the travelers notebooks too, however, I always gravitate back to rings, I just love how you can easily index everything, move things around and flip through everything. I have scaled-down a lot in more recent times and tried to simplify not only by having less planners but also my planning system too. I would highly recommend the lockwood planner. My husband has just bought me one in Cognac in personal for my birthday next month, and I've been having a sneaky play. It's only 25m rings but the leather is stunning, feels died and not 'painted' and very smooth. It lies flat and the position of the pen loop is so much better, as it's further out and does not get in the way of the tabs. I'm really enjoying your channel as another follow planner, who is also in the Filofax FB group. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. :)
Great overview. I enjoyed the photography and hearing your first impressions. Maybe you could condition the outside leather to make it feel better to the touch? Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Thanks for watching and your lovely comments! I don't think conditioning will help, they have used a very matte dye/paint. It's not horrible, just unusual. Peace and love right back to you! 💚
Hi Gabriela, I'm not sure what the style is. I bought it used from one of the Facebook groups. I think it's an older version. Wish I could be more help!
Thank you for sharing - very nice video. It seems the inner part is stiffened up quite a bit - is it? I mostly use pocket size and have a Croc pocket, where the inner compartments are very difficult to use due to the strong stiffening of the inner part and it seems as if the Norfolk pocket could be the same.
Hi, L.T.! Thanks for watching. Yes, the inner part is very stiffened and the slip pockets are therefore not so easy to use. The inner overlay with the card pockets / zip pocket are not stiffened themselves, but the part underneath them is.
Thank you for the information - it is only through such informative videos that one learns about it and is possibly protected from a bad buy. Then the pocket size will be even worse and similar to the Croc pocket. It's a pity that Filofax is now doing this for all planners, which could also be used as a wallet at the same time.
It does! And I can't tell if you're laughing at/with me because of the bloopers at the end or if I shouldn't have cut so much of my love for the green ruler out of the video! If you're serious, take a look at the final 30 seconds of the video haha😂

I took out the pen loop and attached another pen loop from filofax it doesn't interfere with the side tabs , everything else is perfect 👌 😍
Have you ever tried Van Der Spek? So many colors and you can have them custom made? I love them. That is by far the prettiest filofax I’ve ever seen.

Can you buy Filofax refills in Green ink?
Hi Stephenie, could you please let me know the style of the Moterm planner you show in the video?

What size is this? With the angle of filming, it looks bigger than a personal 🙂
♥️‼️
i want one is this a personal size
It's a really nice binder! Yes, this is a personal size.
Does it come with a Green ruler?

Hallo, ist das der Filofox Norfolk a5?
Hi! No, this is the personal size Norfolk.
