I just bought one three weeks ago. I love it. I had driven a 2014 Civic and wanted something along the same lines. Was surprised at the price. Most new 2024 cars I saw were in the $30,000 range. At first I had a basic 2024 Civic being delivered that was $27,000. They had this Civic Sport on hand for me to test drive. Loved how it drove and asked how much this one was. It was cheaper than the one I was having delivered. I also got $6,000 for my trade in. We finally got hit with snow here in Massachusetts. It heats up quick and handles well in the slushy roads so far.
You're lucky, I bought a 2022 Honda Civic Sport in September 2022, and it was roughly 32,000 or 33,000. The markup. Are they pricing these out under 30K as the list price states again? I hope. I overpaid by a lot.
Just got that same car I’m actually digging it it looks slick as hell and is actually a really good ride for a low end base level car I am thinking about upgrading the sound system but I like good sound/tunes in my whips otherwise geeat on gas very roomy for a compact car and the road noise isn’t as bad as I thought it would be my other older Honda crvs’s and past civics had bad road noise. All in all for $26,000-$$28,000 depending on options I think it’s the best base level under $30,000 car out there. Mind you it’s quite an upgrade from my 2004 crv with 280,000 miles on it lol
Upgraded to this honda civic from a 2021 Honda Civic Sport after my lease was up. Still getting used to it. I loved the 2021, the style, the corners, looks bigger and even with more details than this one.
I wish it was possible to have a Honda Civic custom built. I'd want a normal body like that one but with the Type-R motor and power. I'd want an automatic, leather seats (normal seats, not like in the Type R), and no sunroof. I wouldn't want the windshield spray nosel to built into the wiper arms, and I'd want it to where I could raise the wiper arms without having to lift them up first. I'd also make all the controls for the radio and air conditioner normal buttons and knobs, and the screen would only be used for GPS and for the camera in the back. There would also be a mechanical emergency brake.
Good for you, I prefer having those features. If I’m paying this much for a car I would like to see it come with what other cars are offering at basic trim level
Congratulations. Go take your blood pressure medication and let people who don't live off social security discuss what features we want on our new cars.
Sport in Europe has many more features. Split back seats, fog lights, heated seats, 1 more USB in front rów, 2 in the back, AC vents in the back, blind spot monitor, hybrid engine with 184 hp and 50 mpg, partially leather seats and armrests on the doors etc.
picked mine up, Blue/black, now have 700+ miles on it. Not happy with all the "gadgets" to set and or turn on/off and the two pound owners manual. At 67yrs.old not used to a "computer car" LOL. Hate the steering assist, so turned it off. The Adapt. cruise will take some getting used to also. I average 36mpg combined, 40 Hiway in ECO mode so no complaints there. Not happy with the door lock programming, maybe just not used to it. I am happy that the exterior looks like the Si less the spoiler so I ordered the spoiler and installed it.
i test drove this and the much more expensive awd turbo mazda 3 (they didn't have the ff nonturbo one which is the one i would buy), the handling on the civic is making me lean more towards the civic despite cvt, it felt so much lighter and a little stiffer than the 3.
Aegean blue = the blue version of red. The tail lights have contrast with blue. Almost got one, but decided on sonic gray pearl. bad Only thing is the sporty 18" wheels = bumpier bumps. No temp gauge and glove box is smaller than 10th gen. Has idle stop feature. It can be turned off-every time you start the car? good You can see most of the hood while sitting in the front. Has push button start and paddle shifters. Leather steering wheel. Clock has automatic time option. Style is a bit better, but that is subjective. Remote start!!
Strange that the US rear bumper doesn’t have a recovery hook socket, but they didn’t bother changing the styrofoam spare tire kit to reflect that omission. No model refresh after several years I guess, although not many have been shipped thus far due to shortages.
Just got mine 2 weeks ago and it was the only blue one the dealer had at the time I think there were only 3 others in east valley/phoenix when I got mine I talked with every dealer to find the best price
I like that the Civic Sport comes with the 2L engine. I don't think the upgrades from the LX are really worth the money though, at least to me personally. I'm sure to others the Sport is a no-brainer.
I'm looking at the sport solely for remote start and 8 speakers instead of 4. Either would need an aftermarket upgrade for me, and the 4 speaker setup is a no go for that
Nice color. They cut lots of corners on the vehicle. No power driver's seat, hard plastic on the upper door panels, no rear USB or power connections, no rear center armrest, and no engine temp gauge in the instrument cluster but an IDIOT light instead.

Agreed. I love my 2022 Sport so much but I think it's crap it doesn't have rear cupholders, a fold down rear arm rest, the temp gauge, or wireless carplay. I think anything at 30,000 it should be standard, cars have had this stuff for years now, it's nothing new. Other than the few skipped options, the car is very nice.
That's a lot of money it should be price $23,456 even if you own cvt. It wouldn't last that long these car would only last 6 years. Not like the engine they used to have. The 2.3liter good old days
@@hvg-pb2im make sure they show you the itemized breakdown of each thing you are paying, and question everything.
