Rangers seem to be suffering multiple self inflicted wounds. What’s happening with this team? Don’t get me wrong…it’s fun to watch as a Senators fan. Cheers from Tulua, Colombia 🇨🇴
Blues fans are a bit mixed over the PO Joseph trade. While we're trying to 'retool' and emphasize a youth movement, our defense has gotten MUCH older with acquiring Ryan Suter (who'll be 40 in January) over the Summer and Cam Fowler just recently. Our current blueline has SIX players that will be 32+ by, or just after, the end of the regular season (including the injured Torey Krug). After Phillip Broberg, we really don't have any top-4 defense candidates under 30 right now who are likely to make a difference in the next year or two, or going forward. OTOH, Joseph was looking like he'd never be much more than a depth defenseman here (or possibly anywhere else) and he'll at least get some playing time back in Pittsburgh. It's a shame he couldn't have stayed to play in the Winter Classic with his brother, but Pittsburgh may have insisted that they wanted the deal done before the trade freeze. The move also clears the way to reactivate Nick Leddy without sending anyone through waivers. If Leddy's fully healthy and playing up to his ability, he's definitely better than Joseph right now.
This reminds me of Chicago, with Seth & Caleb Jones, that weren't together, in Chicago, for very long, but longer than The Joseph Brothers. These teams obviously never knew of The Esposito Brothers, who'd missed playing in Chicago together by a couple of years (or The Hull Brothers, that did)
How about Nick and Brett Ritchie. Nick was playing for Arizona and Brett was playing for Calgary, and at the 2023 trade deadline Nick was traded to Calgary. Unfortunately Brett was part of the return.
I actually think that the Rags were the perfect fit for kakko. He has a guy the season after him go 1 in Lafreniere(im sure i butchered that spelling) so he was no longer the shiny new penny with all the fans eyes on his every shift. They had established veterans that were on their top line like kreider and Mika Z and Lafreniere was 2nd line more than likely so Kakko could slide into a 3rd line with some sprinkling in 2nd line duty but its a good chance hes not going to be facing top pairing D, more than likely facing 2nd and 3rd pairings. As a rival team fan thats kind of how i see it but i dont pay as much attention to other teams as much as i do my own either.
Yup, he got showcased by the club for a very long time, very surprised we got Carrier under a good contract 1 to 1 for Barron who wouldn’t have stayed in Montreal top7 next season. Mailloux and Engstrom are both going to be ready. Potentially Reinbacher if he can stay healthy as well, don’t be shocked to see Struble go as well.
I think Borgens rough year so far was more of a systems mismatch. He was pretty good with the Kraken under Hakstol but he struggled with Bylsma's system. I hope he kills it with the Rangers. Gonna miss him in Seattle
I sincerely wish Kappo Kakko well. The Rangers & he, except for The Kid Line year, were not ever really a fit. I think that The Rangers should have kept The Kid Line together. Who knows what would have happened. Maybe, they'd have been out Top Line. Well, that point is moot.
@@davehowie03tbf, sports network have been doing this for years too tbh. Journalism in general has been dead the moment the internet went up. That's the exact moment where headlines and clickbait became more important than the actual articles.
May I ask what you’re talking about? Do you even know the Rangers?. Miller, jones, Cuylle, chytl, Schneider, Laffy,, berard, Edstrom,. All these kids have been brought up almost 50% of the team are rookies filtered in the system. Kakko just was not a fit,
The December NHL Trade Deadline has been WILD Y'ALL! So let me know, what are YOUR thoughts on the Kakko & Carrier trades? #GravGang
Let´s go people, let´s get Grav to the 100k mark! For all the entertainment he gives he sure deserve it! Cheers from Sweden!
Great Video, as usual, Nathan

As a Kraken fan, fuck it, worth giving a shot.
Also, Grav, when's the next stream?
Happy Birthday Will Borgen!!!
Barrons best hockey was his first lil bit after the Lehky trade....He has regressed every season since unfortunately, wish him the best though.

Thoughts on Sam Bennett for John Gibson?

3 minor trades have happened. This is pure sensationalism.
Yeah but that’s how YT works anymore. Gotta have the clickbait title and thumbnail.
Nashville Habs isn’t as minor as the others. 2nd pairing D isn’t a minor piece but others for sure

Anything right now is major 🙏
Kakko trade is objectively huge. Recent 2nd overall pick
I mean hardly huge trades
That's a lot of words to say basically nothing.
The joseph bros at a Christmas picture together thats sad man
