    it is a very nice fishing venue to fish, loads of fish was caught in the match on all lakes, with some over 100lb, but not for me as you see, 30+lb swam out, should of checked the nets,

      Unlucky with the net, but as nets supplied maybe re-funding your peg fee would of been the way forward from the owner, just aswell you didnt catch more fish with that net,.

    Well fished james on a venue you dont normally fish at
    Its such a shame about the net .yes they should be checked before matches if they provide nets to use

    Sorry to hear about your net James as that cost you a few places in the results at the end. Hope you have a replacement net by your next match so that you have enough nets. Happy new year and I hope 2025 is better than this year for you

    How annoying about that hole in the net. I must admit I doubt I'd have thought to check nets myself. As you say lesson learnt. All the best for 2025.

    What can I say. Lots of bites and fish. At least you were never going to challenge the Net weighs limits Ha Ha. Well fished though James. Happy New Year and all the best for 2025. (might want to go on a weight estimating course).🤣🤣🤣🤣

      did you see the end Peter, the fist net i clicked 50lb, when i checked it after the weigh in the fist net had a six inch rip in it and they all swam out, Thank you peter happy new year to you and your family,

    My mate had a hole in his net ( mice) and estimated 40lb and weighed in 3lb

    Be careful shipping out with a pot on before the all in lot of fisheries will disqualify for that bud.

    Not sure what is worse , the guy doing the weight on a hard wooden peg or you putting your keepnet down on it full of fish ??

      yes i must agree with you Patrick, but there was nothing i could do about it, im very close with my clicking now, i still wouldn't of come anywhere in the match, but i had a £ with two mates, and lost them both because of it, Thank you mate,

    Absolutely disgusting on behalf of the fishery owners,promoting a big match, drawing in the entrance fees and not being able to supply usable equipment, feel sorry for ya mate, I would of kicked off and demanded money back,
    obviously couldn't supply usable equipment for the demand of entrants 🤐
    sorry to see a well fished match end like that 😉

      gutted, i was no were near the winners but it was the principle of it, it wasn't the oner running the match, it was my tutor and mate, the oner said he don't get time to check all the nets cos there's close on 200 nets, Thank you for commenting mate, Happy new year to you and your family,

      @@jamesatkinsfishing Your mate organised and took all the custom to that venue where the owners rules are to use his nets....sorry J but this has really raised my back, disgusting on behalf of venue owners, feel sorry for your effort you put into the match, ie travel and entry fee, but anyway all the best mate,keep up the hard work producing the videos for 2025 . 😉👍

      Better to provide a net dipping facility than for a fishery to supply the (usually poor quality) nets imo
