we couldnt yet, but from first plane flight to first crewed mission to moon there is just 66 years difference. I doubt if many would have tought back in 2004 that in circa 10 years we will have some kind of vr. We are almost no longer able to predict future's technology because in just one year there are more things invented than in 1000 years in the past.
I'm still wondering how the camera man went around the universe filming those boiling hot stars in about 5 minutes.

If you buy into the Multiverse Hypothesis -- it sorta is. Although, every "planet" or "atom" (Universe) is separated by a kind of space, which cannot be traversed. At least not in any way we know of (perhaps if negative energy/negative matter -- "imaginary" matter -- exists, it might be possible through some kind of, say, entangled relationship).

I have something to tell. If this insanely huge universe, is just a simulation created by others then we would never ever reach the limits , that's why speed of light is so insane, that we can't probably reach that speed , and these vast interstellar distances. If not then this universe is real , and fascinating for sure. But it would have an end , like the great crunch or great freeze one day. Everything becomes into dust and tiny particles. Nothing would exist. I don't know where to stand in the reality or simulatory world.

@@abinashtarai6067 I guess I should have said that there is a lot of speculation about what we don’t know. And that’s completely natural. I threw some samples (turning to stone/or stars) as examples. Until we actually find life in our universe, we don’t know it exists. We don’t know what happens when we die. I’m an optimist though. But also a realist. I hope I’m still around if/when we discover (or they find us) life out there. I believe it’s out there. Just no proof yet. I did see a UFO 🛸 back in 2016. And I was with 2 friends. Whatever it was, I’ve never seen anything cooler in my 62 years. (and I’m glad I wasn’t alone). 👍🏻
