Sorry for that E-bay experience man, I must say that PS Direct pre-order was one of the best deliveries I ever had. It was DHL express, they've delivered it in a very solid box and handed the package very carefully. (I bet that express delivery costs a pretty penny)

The 17$ was the original costs for sending the ps5pro. they were broke and ebay holds money until buyer received the product. Also it was stolen, probably from a truck or container... or someone from a shop scooped 2 packages in the backalley for a price
There is zero chance if he worked for best buy that he was able to use an employee discount for that much money. I work for best buy and the employee discount does nothing for bigger tech items from the major tech companies. Sony Apple Samsung LG. The only way you can sometimes get a better price on those items is when they are already open box. It looks like the brown box that those consoles came in on the original listing is exactly how the consoles come from the manufacturer they always ship with 2 consoles in a brown box!
