They’re going on a world tour next year and they’re also going to be the first Kpop girl group to perform at Singapore F1!! They’ve also talked about how each of them steps up when necessary, ex: Rami/Ahyeon vocals, Ruka Dance, Asa rap, Ruka/Pharita/Rora speaking, all of them monitoring their performances and discussing what could be better. I think that this is kind of similar to how the dont have official positions, in that the girls aren’t limited in anyway and each of them can continue to grow and improve, while helping each other to do so as well. I’m not saying that doesnt happen in other groups, but making it a level playing field for all of them gives them more freedom, but also even maybe more motivation since it fosters collaboration. It’s also a bit of a statement towards akgaes which is always welcome. YG wants them to be able to do everything, and believes they can, and I think this is probably one of the best ways to go about it.

Depends what you mean by leader. Rora has done the most talking since they debuted. Even in this she was the anchor. But in most videos she basically leads and ask the other members questions. I think it’s good they have no leader. They all have different skills they can help each other with.

If you notice the merch from the fandom meeting and the shirt Pharita was wearing the lightning bolt and the "R" is a different font. There was a rock audio teaser in the reveal of the mini album when Ahyeon appeared for the first time back in March. CAn't wait for their full album!
Of course all members have the leadership skills but Ruka always leading them especially in the greeting, dance performance practice and their other activities. Even Rami also said so. But whatever, I hope they can continue to grow as Babymonster together.

I’m not sure here where our fellow commenter believes they heard that, I watch all obtainable BABYMONSTER content and never heard anything official about a leader until this video.
