Hi Jessalyn, I remember loving your channel when I was younger and today I just stumbled across this video. I could relate to you on so many levels. Like school, time management and making friends. I also only interacted with my family during quarantine and even before that I had social anxiety, which caused me to attend skating and dancing (2 years each) without making a SINGLE friend. This year (9th grade) I made three awesome but introverted friends who didn’t want to interact with others and avoid fun school events. I joined a few clubs, but no one attended them, I couldn’t relate to my friends, stopped leissure activities, didn’t hang out with anyone after school and was busy with homework. I think they are kind people, but I don’t want this friendship to hold me back. Finally, during this big school camping event I got to step out of my comfort zone, start conversations with those who were actually happy to interact and I feel like everything is going to get better. I wish you best of luck! I hope you have great holidays that bring something new into your life and I find it very sweet that your friends gave you such a cute gift. ヾ๑ˊᵕˋ๑◞♡

Jessalyn don’t apologize! I’m also in high school and I’m in JMMAST, the work gets so difficult sometimes, the teachers give so much homework and it gets a little much sometimes, but I tried this one thing and it really worked for me and it helped me stop procrastinating. This is what I did, so I wrote down all of my assignments on a piece of paper with the due dates and everything, after that I color code them to most important to the least important. For example, I would do blue for most important and I’d highlight it, and green for not so important, and yellow for the least important (meaning either later due dates or least amount of credits). After I have those organized I’d add it to my calender and little secret (for the important ones I put the due date a little earlier so when it gets near I’d see it and start it right away) I hope this helps you :))) love you girl💜💜

Do time block out do work certain amount time. Block time for certain task. Set alarm when you do those how long. When you get homework done during the week. Then can film on the weekend. Can watch productive video of how people chunk hw and RUclips. It is possible. Just have to find the balance.

Jocelyn listen this is my tips for you to be productive what I learned and you can learn to make a list for yourself time yourself so that makes you do it accomplish it try to go to bed a a early time to get your body pump and moving in I’ll make you function for the day The three plan ahead know what you’re gonna do and have a reason why you want to wake up at that time can I get things done in the morning drink a lot of water so your body knows to wake up this is what I learned to be more productive with my day So if you wanna learn a new hobby write it down your notebook your phone create a list that you’re going to want to do and you wanna achieve and try to get it done when you’re finished one task you’re gonna feel so much better that you accomplished you’re gonna feel so happy with yourself always not the plan ahead before you do it plan for success OK that is my tips for you

Do all school work directly on the day you get it! If it's too much for one day do one piece of homework for end of the week first then you still have to do the ones for the next day 😉 when you do all your work during the week you will have time to film and edit on the week end and still meet friends 😊

this sounds super cliche but as someone who basically doesn’t do any procrastinating, literally all I do is think about how much I DON’T want to do it. Just think of future Jessalyn and how happy she will be to not have to do this math homework lol
