Because my life hadn't gone the way I wanted it to i had tried to focus too much on my negative thoughts. This type of thinking isn't healthy. Rather it's ok to have them we all do. But I shouldn't speak those thoughts. I like that 2nd quote because it's a good reminder when a situation isn't going your way not to allow your frustration to dictate how you talk. For example if you have digestive issues that won't go away. Instead of getting frustrated and saying this will never go away or I don't know how this will change. Instead you say "I have healthy digestion". "My body can and will function and it's peak". You may have thoughts that disagree but you don't verbalize them.
