Because my life hadn't gone the way I wanted it to i had tried to focus too much on my negative thoughts. This type of thinking isn't healthy. Rather it's ok to have them we all do. But I shouldn't speak those thoughts. I like that 2nd quote because it's a good reminder when a situation isn't going your way not to allow your frustration to dictate how you talk. For example if you have digestive issues that won't go away. Instead of getting frustrated and saying this will never go away or I don't know how this will change. Instead you say "I have healthy digestion". "My body can and will function and it's peak". You may have thoughts that disagree but you don't verbalize them.

Today July 24th, 2023. My son was born. Our first child. I’ve been having knee pain and chest pains at age 33 after I’ve lost about 95 pounds. I have been a little worried about it even though I went to the ER twice and nothing was found for my chest pains. I want to keep losing weight. I WILL find a better job to be able to support my family. My knee pain and chest pain WILL go away. I love you god. I love you Jesus.

"Negative thoughts will come don't say them".
"Don't use your words to describe the situation use your words to change the situation"
Because my life hadn't gone the way I wanted it to i had tried to focus too much on my negative thoughts. This type of thinking isn't healthy. Rather it's ok to have them we all do. But I shouldn't speak those thoughts.
I like that 2nd quote because it's a good reminder when a situation isn't going your way not to allow your frustration to dictate how you talk.
For example if you have digestive issues that won't go away. Instead of getting frustrated and saying this will never go away or I don't know how this will change. Instead you say "I have healthy digestion". "My body can and will function and it's peak". You may have thoughts that disagree but you don't verbalize them.
I would rather shut up than speak negative coz it has put me in bondage for long.
