Personally can’t understand some of the negative comments. She comes across as a really personable and warm person , very humble and proud but so enthusiastic about what she is doing. Great champion and role model.
She's definitely an elite of the elites. So focused and determined! True while it may seem she's not personable or outgoing as other athletes, I'm sure for her it shows in other ways and not in the in public eyes like this YT show. Also being a big target on her back, you don't show your poker face and cards, so I'm guessing if things go her way she'll be sitting in top 2 or winning!
Just sitting there she looks so strong. I'd love to see her and Lucy go neck and neck to the finish, but there are a lot of strong ladies out there who can take it as well. Can't wait for this race! Good luck to all.
Prediction: Ryf and Charles are running neck and neck at 38k on the run when Rinny shoots past on her way to a 2.48 marathon split. Okay maybe more a pipe dream but still it would make for a more interesting race than in recent years, for the women
@@myman3879 Don't get me wrong, she doesn't come across badly. Laura Phillip is German, but is much more personable in her interview with Bob. Like I said can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe Daniela is more nervous, as you mentioned.

I saw her in Nice minutes after her win. She was on the phone but I still wanted to congratulate her cause she's just an extraordinary athlete. Despite her "fame" in the sport and the fact she was busy, she was still very nice and friendly. Nothing compared to Holly Lawrence that I saw couple of minutes before (and also in another race) and who seem a bit cocky...
