I think Carson hits the 4,000 yd mark, but this season has closer to 35-38 passing tds.. 5-8ints
I do think UGA hovers around 42ppg
I also believe uga has 1 1,000 yd rusher in etienne, tho i think rod rob will lead the team in rushing tds.. i dont think we get a 1,000 yd WR but a few guys around 600-800yds maybe 3

Georgia’s 55th ranked schedule last season added 75-100 yd to his 23 numbers that will be erased against a bonafide SEC schedule for the first time. UGA statistics from 2002- 2023 should get an asterisk based on SEC East cupcake scheduling.

Georgia is essentially a first time SEC member this season, they will play their first true SEC Schedule that doesn’t allow them to avoid the power teams. The stats from 23 are against the 55th ranked schedule, those stats are meaningless

We add Clemson and Texas which definitely buffs the schedule. The rest of the teams we have played over a 2 year period and they do help in benchmarking stats. Honestly not many teams are going to “have it easy”. I’m glad we have this schedule because if we can make it through with 1 loss then we are winning it all. Even with 2 losses, we can still have the potential to do it. Everything we see this year are outliers because we are in unprecedented times of the CFB era.

Will be interesting to see how it changes the perception/ statistics/ W-Ls of UGA. The national media has allowed UGA to claim SEC bonafides while in reality, it was playing the equivalent of an ACC schedule 2 hard games never back to back and padding stats avoiding injuries then essentially getting bye week to playoffs, playing the Florida State level schedule but never having to debate that aspect of the advantage it was given. Really cheapens that back to back.

      Blind Homer take.
Just completely ignore the UGA god awful spring game.
The Dawgs had a chance to show some of that offensive flash and looked terrible.
Reminds me of all the Bama homers last year yapping about their best OL ever who stunk once on the field.

@@wknight5595 I completely disagree with that take for the spring game . Typical fan will see an offensive struggle but as a coach for over 20 years, it was one of the best spring games that you could have from both sides of the ball. You don’t realize how good both sides of the ball are. I’m glad to see that our defense maintained our offense because that shows balance. You take a look at Texas and their spring game and everybody thinks they’re gonna be great. Their defense is going to be suspect if you think the spring game is a testament to the program then I don’t know what to tell you.

@@wknight5595I agree. Carson threw the ball over 40 times and didn't even throw for 200 yards, with no real threat of being sacked a lot of balls batted down at the line he is 6'4" it shouldn't have happened so much

Don't worry, the referees will be there to save the day from Georgia for the greater good of college football. If they don't, I will be shocked. It's even worse in the NFL.

I think the defense avgs around the same ppg, but gets more key stops, key sacks and even turnovers and feels like a much better all around defense
Damon wilson has +/- 5.5 sacks and leads the team
Mykell has around 4-5 sacks as well

So if they are no longer student athletes, but employees, will they still get free school, free medical care, free training, free food, free housing? I think not. Can they be cut if they don't perform??

    • @dawgdispatch
      @dawgdispatch  5 месяцев назад

They can still get all those things because they are generating revenue for the school. Many employers provide healthcare, training, even housing in many cases on top of a salary… and players can already be processed out for performance
