@@irhdaily The Legend of Prince Rama (1993) is the story of Lord Ram, that focuses on the different phases of his life, from birth followed by becoming a prince, a student, a husband, his exile to do the righteous and free the earth from evil.
However, Hanuman (2005) revolves around the story of Lord Ram's greatest devotee, Lord Hanuman. The mischievous nature of the Monkey God is close to accurately portrayed in this movie, educating everyone about him.
You guys can watch both of them, in any order because both are great. And if possible, then watch Return of Hanuman (2007) which is the continuation of Hanuman (2005) that takes place in the modern era, quite a funny one 😅
It's gonna be a fictional short film and another monkey like figure you saw that might be Son goku(The monkey king). Monkey king is a inspired version of Lord Hanuman.The story of both of them are completely changed as it takes place in Chinese mythology.

If you want to learn more about this watch along with Alyssa. The Indian Japanese Anime movie Ramayana: The legend of Prince Rama. It's a condensed version of the entire story which is fun to watch and will give you a very good basis for any future references. It's available in English dub and Hindi, I would actually even recommend English as it's easier to follow. Please my dear Sean watch it and before watching it read something about the following characters so you are familiar with the names:
1. Ram
2. Sita (Wife of Ram)
3. Lakhsman (Little brother of Ram from different mother)
4. Bharat (Younger brother of Ram, but older than Lakhsma from different mother)
5. Ravan/Ravana (The demon king)
6. Hanuman (The monkey deity)

1993 legend of prince rama is more lord rama centric.
