  • [Builder's view] Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC '98 Monte-Carlo is in progress.
To eliminate the characteristic transparency of the plastic, I painted the back of the body with matte black. Then, to create the roof air intake (roof ventilator), I drilled a hole in the roof.
I will make tweets such as the announcement of the start of the live broadcast on X(Twitter)

Kenji San, I really enjoy watching your videos. Not only are they fun to watch, but also so relaxing as well. I do appreciate the english subtitles as I can fully enjoy watching and learn from these videos, too. The "ASMR" aspect of the videos you make is the highlight for me. 👍

Hi Kenji, thank you for the members only shots of this vent work. I think this is progressing well. It's all this work in the beginning that makes your work so worthwhile as the final result shows through. These customizations are the best thing to watch you do. It doesn't matter how long it takes. I'm never in a hurry for a project to end. You do a great job of making these kits a one of a kind build. Thank you for sharing Kenji, and have a great weekend.

Hi Brian, thank you as always.
When I looked at photos of real cars, I noticed that the roof ventilators often have a slight opening on the driver's side. Determined to replicate this feature, I made them operable. It was quite a hassle, but it became a significant highlight and I'm pleased with how it turned out.😊

Wouldn't be easier to use an scriber knife?

This part is very thick, so it is difficult to do by scribing.
