Hey Ukulele Teacher! Had problems learing this strumming pattern, so i did run it in slow motion, and i finaly saw that every third strum you did go longer down with your strum to keep the space between down down and down up... This was actually a great trick! Thanks!

For the verse, instead of using Bb, you can use Gm (if Bb is too difficult). A strumming pattern that would include less reliance on beat counts is DDUUDDU.
