- The Crowning of the May Queen took place in Worthing. The celebration began at Splash Point at 8am and proceeded to Montague Place. The Sompting Village Morris Dancers performed infront of the Mayor of Worthing Cllr Ann Sayers and the May Queen was duly crowned by her.
