I've noticed Beatles, Cream, Kinks and a little bit of Zombies in the music done for the game. Heck it actually took me a long while before I realized the music was original and not licenced music, that's how well they did at capturing the music.
Honestly I wish the Joy effects were truly like this in-game, instead of just a filter wash. But still, love the game to bits. Good job on the music video you guys!
I honestly never excepted too much of this game but I could see why people are let down by it. I love it but it could have been a bit better with some enemies outside of bobbies and doctors that you could easily take down even when they swarmed you.
I freaking loved the game. I agree about the filter wash, and more enemies would have been a nice touch too. I was pretty enamored with the whole graphical experience and story dynamics... that crazy part with the shopkeeper/butcher was nuts. So happy they came out with DLC's. It seems companies these days put out a game and only release DLC (if they're genuinely not just moneygrubbing) if the game was positively accepted; I could be wrong though. I don't understand why some folks were let down, but there's thousands of games out there and something for everyone. I got the big box edition with the mask on the stand, which was a pretty cool thing, though the alarm clock and sticker advertisements for Joy ended up being my favorites. I gave the mask away as a gift!

This INCREDIBLE! I have so much respect for games putting a great deal of effort into making a truly original soundtrack. This is one step beyond that, blurring the lines between fiction and fact, so utterly parallel to the game. We happy few is a real gem of an experience

Dude. I cant stop watching this. I'm balls deep in this game...have been able to sleep for 2 days...everytime I kay down, I hear the slow mo "la la la". I listen for about an hour, than I have to sit up and keep playing ...what magical curse does this sound possess me with!!! I fucking love it.

They did add one scene in the beginning, it was the pinata scene. Under the influence of joy, they thought they were hitting a pinata, but they actually were hitting a dead rat, which bust open. then they ate it's guts.

The gameplay was mixed for me, but i loved the concept. How many people do we know that are happy all the time? Now I am not saying being happy is a bad thing, but when someone is happy all the time, it just means they are very naive about how they see the world.

Literally a horrifying reality on what happens when you didn't take your joy. You expect things would go surprisingly well. But in the real world it wasn't, everything you do was a lie. Your friends are not who you think they were as they were under the influence of joy. As they force you to join them. And turn your back on reality. A perfect representation on the effect so far.
Plot twist: The Make Believes actually did the instrumental for this song with a dead pig, a pair of sausages, a plate of mayo, a typewriter and a potted plant
