Grazas polos amables comentarios, Manuel.
Jane, my mother and I are seriously considering moving to Galicia. Your channel pretty much sold me. But are we moving from one wildfire risk area to another? How are you guys after these recent fires. I hope unscathed. Sending much love...
Hola, Caelo. Thanks for the note. We're doing fine. We did have a small wildfire not too far from us last week and we had to leave the area we were visiting, but it was contained quickly. The really large fires were in the southeast part of Galicia. That said, we don't know what will happen. Climate change is having an impact everywhere. This year's fires have been the most destructive in recorded history. Right now Galicia is well below normal rain levels. Everyone hopes that that will normalize this autumn, but who knows? I would suggest that you factor the changing climate patterns into your decision no matter where you relocate to, and look at wildfire risks. There are many parts of Galicia that have extremely low to zero risk, and I suspect that the Galician people will adapt to changing conditions by examining forestry management and developing creative solutions. They are a smart and hard-working people. Best of luck with everything. Believe me, Galicia is still a little paradise. Jones is recovering from COVID; new videos coming soon!
@@JaneinSpain you’re the best! Thank you kindly for answering so quickly. It truly looks amazing and beautiful. One last question, would you know of an attorney in Galecia who could help with immigration and information about the tax rates there? (Our income would be earned in the states and then we’d use what we need in Spain. ) logistics are so not fun, but I want to go in eyed wide open. Thank you again and so happy to hear you guys are ok (except for Covid). Say hey to the pups!
Hi Jane. Tus vídeos me transportan a recuerdos de mi infancia. 35 años lejos de mí tierra. Espero y deseo volver pronto en vida. Muita saúde.
Hola Vicente. Espero que puedas regresar pronto. Galicia te está esperando. Un abrazo fuerte. xo
