I bought 2 of these at Walmart after watching this since they just got them in and I pulled an auto 10/50 in one and a memorabilia card and home field advantage of Julio Rodriguez in the other!
Pulled that elly chrome in my first fat pack this year, im getting back into collecting for the first time since i was a kid and my grandparents weekly trips to the local card shop
I just picked one up at Wallyworld. Can't wait to rip and see how it goes. Also have a couple of hangers and blasters. NICE MEGA STARS!
I found a Giant or Mega box at my local target this morning, it was the only one on the shelf and it says that they dont carry them in store, so I got it and pulled a Colton Cowser green parallel megastars /99
Nice Shohei and Elly. Was able to find a blaster today. Left with groceries. Ten minutes in, forgot I took it out of shopping cart and made a u-turn. Walmart guy places it at customer service. Went home and finally pulled a base Elly. Then noticed I forgot 2 boxes of Sugar Pepsi still in the cart 🤦♂️
That Mega Stars was worth the price of the box. I like those more than the Home Field Advantage.
Just starting collecting the new Topps. Curious, are the foil cards worth anything?? I did hit on a Bo Jackson foil number card /99
Some players are worth more than others. All depends on what following the player has.
Are Jason Dominguez RC available in series 2? Or only series 1? I can’t pull one to save my life…
No base card ones but he has an insert or 2.
Wow. I’m mostly a football and basketball guy but I stopped by my Barnes and picked this up and Openned it at the store. Got a Freddie freeman blueprint auto #/25 and a couple of numbered blue parallels of Ashley ruschman. I guess I was just lucky

I got a fathers day blue /50 and a true photo ssp in mine, so it was a bit of a hot one, but if you get two for 100 that compares to a hobby box and i feel like its pretty good value. They actually have really good odds for pulling parallels compared to the other formats.
Nice vid! Might stick with blasters for the Spring parallels but still a fun opening!

Mega Stars are a tough pull. It paid for the box.
Does anybody ever pull a 1/1 or atleast a monster out of retail? Its been a Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since i saw a vid with a retail pull of 1K or higher. Thanks for content/break
I think for $50 you should be guaranteed at least an auto and a relic. So many of the autos are low grade rookies anyway so they should at least throw one in each box.
That's what hobby boxes are for. Sadly for guaranteed stuff you have to pay a lot more.
For 50 maybe a relic guaranteed but not an auto. They like use the exclusive parallels to get everyone to buy the different formats.
We can't even get that guarantee on a $90 hobby box lol ridiculous
@@OgreBreaks crazy that 2024 breakers think this way. I remember 5 years ago you can either pull a auto or a jersey card from $20 NBA prizm blaster boxes.
I like the 2022 stars better in my opinion
lets get those likes in, Ogre to 10k or more for 2024.

It was definitely okay but man I saw a lot of the same cards... Almost to the point where it looked like an error...
The amount of dupes was unreal. Shouldn’t be this way.
I would not be pleased getting that many dupes. Super annoying. I opened 2 stadium club hobby boxes and only had 4 base dupes and maybe 6 red foil dupes of the base cards.
The number of dupes is disappointing for sure.
I think i will sell the 4 i ordered 🤷🏻♂️
The megas seem a little rough out of all the retail products.
