You forgot a thing near the beginning where Drake and Josh basically talk about the same teacher while Drake says teachers are some of the worst people in your life and Josh says they’re the best. I think it’s implied that they both didn’t think to well of the guy mostly because it was hard to understand what he said.
I didn't watch this show growing up, but am loving checking it out with you. Miranda Cosgrove is the best. She's also in the Despicable Me movies, which the newest one might be my new favorite overall. It's not big or exciting like the others, but it's just so funny and full of joy. Pure happiness. Too bad it's not school related.
Hi Brandon!! So excited you’re doing this! Just watched Honor Council last night 😂 You’re an awesome content creator, and I am always glad to see you post!
I remember when I was in chemistry class we never got to work with chemicals like on TV. The whole class would complain and ask when we would be able to do experiments with chemicals. On April fools our teacher got us excited because he brought tubes with diffrent colored liquids but it turned out to be different colored sodas and he made it clear to us that we wouldn't be working with chemicals. He did let us have soda for lunch though since chemistry was the class before the lunch period.
Chemistry class in high school would not let you work with chemicals like on tv. You would see them more in grad school, not that much in college since they teach undergraduate level.
This episode reminds me of a show called Mr. Young. Where a school has a teenage teacher. The whole series takes place in a school setting. I reccomend it.
I recommended that show too, but I think a big differences that the teacher at least knows the standards of where they should be and is trying to be at that level trying to make it more interesting but still try to treat them like you know high school students now the principalwell I think there would be multiple firings charges for him

The teacher not being in the room thing? That actually happened to one of my friends who’s about to start her first year as a teacher. She student taught last year for a third grade class. The teacher would just leave the room, never watch her. She would go hang out with another teacher in the teachers lounge, I think at one point she mentioned to me about her CT going to the YMCA. It got worse after mid terms when she told her professors that her CT was never watching her. After that, she would be in the room, but she made herself a little hut out of bookshelves and just hid behind them while my friend was doing her student teaching (which was so weird). Then her CT started turning in forms in which she deemed her teaching skills as unsatisfactory. The last straw for my friend was when her CT told her to her face that she’s not a great teacher, she didn’t have it in her to teach and she would be better off working at the grocery store she was working at at the time for the rest of her life. She reported to the university who then reassigned her a different CT and thankfully she managed to pass her student teacher experience with the new CT. I don’t know what happened to her original CT. I honestly hope she was fired.
Wow that's terrible. I feel so sorry for your friend who had to deal with that. It honestly reminds me of a similar scenario that happened in Gilmore Girls with Rory's journalism internship when she was in college. FYI, what's CT?
The episode you watched was released on January 28th 2006. I was in school in the mid 90's until around 2010 and in my experience school security was pretty low. We definitely didn't have any school cameras and our school computer lab was broken into and a bunch of the computers were stolen and gutted for parts. So for the time this episode aired I think it's level of school security was pretty accurate. Makes sense school security is taken more seriously now though as we have better technology now and some schools have tablets and other expensive equipment to help students learn.
As bad as Josh might have been to Megan and her classmates in this Season 3 Drake & Josh episode, at the same time, one of her classmates DID eat glue on Josh's first day of teaching Megan's class. Especially since eating glue in real life could lead to a lot of serious health problems to those who consumed it whole.
Also, what Josh did in Megan's New Teacher is nothing compared to what Megan would always do to Drake and Josh. Especially with Drake & Josh episodes like First Crush, Football, Blues Brothers, Foam Finger, Sheep Thrills, Alien Invasion, Megan's Revenge, I Love Sushi, Tree House, Vicious Tiberius, Battle of Panthatar, Helicopter, and especially with Peruvian Puff Pepper.
15:10 School security has definitely had a major upgrade just since I was a kid. I'm only 27, my daughter turned 9 today, and goes to the same school I went to. When I was a kid, you could pretty much walk in and out of any building, at any time, without any questions. Now, every single door has a second door shortly after, and they all have electronic locks and alarms that can only be activated from inside. It's both a relief and kind of sad, really. I wish it wasn't necessary.
Can’t recommend the episode “Josh is Done” enough. It’s so good. It’s a little “deeper” than most episodes but the message is great even for adults. Definitely on the more realistic side I would say. I’d love to see you cover that episode on the channel!
Josh was totally out of control in this episode. He was straight up shafting these kids by forcing them to do college level work when it was way too advanced for them. Also the broken faucet should not have counted against Josh because it's clear he didn't do that on purpose, the clown video and the explosive chemicals are a different story though.
So Josh was teaching chemistry, but he comes in dressed as Einstein. Einstein was a physicist, not a chemist. Josh said they should recognize him from their homework, and I know chemistry/physics overlap, but I don’t know why Einstein would be discussed in a chemistry textbook.
The daughter of one of the 4th grade teachers at my elementary school actually was in my 4th grade class, though we didn't have her mother as our teacher, however her classroom was right next door to ours. Although from what I heard, that was a good thing. Also, I know, I am commenting on a video if yours that is not Ned's declassified, though, after all the allegations came out I don't think I would ever watch a Dan Schneider show again.
I think when an entire class you teach fail something that is going to be a bad sign. I draw the whole point of a teacher is to have his class pass plus the fact that he was nonchalant to the girl who asked her mom for help and she couldn’t figure out and then she asked her husband who got mad and went to a motel would not be a good luck

When He gives them a college textbook it reminds of how mr Ratburn on Arthur gives little 3rd graders borderline late highschool/college level assignments, so if a teacher in elementary school only knows how to teach at a highschool level, would they just get transferred over to a high school in that case?
Despite Ratburn's lessons being designed for college kids most of the students in that class actually did their homework. Most of them did well with the homework (Exceptions being Buster who in 1 episode "Buster Makes The Grade" Buster is in danger of failing the 3rd grade and if he doesn't get at least a B on the next big test he will have to repeat 3rd grade. Another student in that class who struggles with classwork and who got held back was Binky. During one of the Thanksgiving episodes when they're assigned a report over Thanksgiving Break Buster says "This must be what college is like, except we can't drive and have to be in bed by 9."
Not necessarily, but the expectation would absolutely be that they teach at an age appropriate level. Teacher assignments are often based upon what type of teaching certificate that teacher has.
You should react to bluey. It's an amazing show. The school episodes are: Calypso, The Adventure, Early Baby, Mums and Dads, Daddy Dropoff, Army (highly recommended), Helicopter, Barky Boats, Typewriter, Explorers, Stories, and Space. You should also watch the rest of the episodes too because the entire show is amazing. (It's an Australian kids' show, but it's so good adults also watch it.)
Hi, Principal Brandon! I have a request for a show for you to look over. It's kind of obscure, but it's one that I was a *huge* fan of as a child - it's called _The Buzz on Maggie,_ and it aired on the Disney Channel from 2005 to 2006. It's set on a garbage dump inhabited by anthropomorphic insects (mostly flies), and the protagonist is a preteen fly girl named Maggie Pesky, who's a free-thinking nonconformist type and plays by her own rules, and always tries to concoct schemes to get around the rigid rules in society, only for them to backfire in spectacular ways. As with a lot of Disney shows at that time, one common setting is the school, Buzzdale Academy - it appears to be a K-12 school, as it's not only attended by Maggie, but also her brothers who are respectively elementary- and high-school aged. And a lot of the situations Maggie faces there typically involve being forced into boring schoolwork, having to deal with strict teachers, rivalries with her fellow students, and all sorts of boring bureauocratic BS. But anyway, Principal Peststrip has always been one of my favourite characters besides Maggie herself - he tries to run the school with an iron fist and a strict demeanour, especially having it out for our free-spirited protagonist, but he's also a real goofball and doesn't always have his priorities straight. It also helps that he's voiced by Jeff Bennett, the voice of Johnny Bravo, who brings his A-game to the role in giving the right levels of goofy and serious. If you're willing to look over the show sometime, unfortunately it's not on Disney+ as Disney basically denies the show's existence at this point, but it's free for viewing on RUclips via bootleg uploads. An in particular, here are the episodes that take place at school, with the Peststrip episodes marked "P": “Ladybugged” “The Science Whatchamacallit” “The Candidate” *P* “Lunch Lady” *P* “King Flear” “Pieface” *P* “The Usual Insects” *P* “Scum Bites” *P* “Hooligans” “Metamorpho Sis” “Radio Free Buzzdale” *P* “Those Pesky Roaches” “Hot For Tutor” “Sick Days Inc.” *P* “Ant Mines” “Faking History” “Training Day” *P* “Best Best Friends” *P* “Club Hopping” Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the matter! :)
8:05 Okay I am going to be that guy. Josh says "Good morning children." and then says "Guten Tag." I get it, but he is incorrect. Good morning in German is NOT Guten tag; it is Guten Morgen. And if you wondered, children in German is "Kinder." Sorry; I took three semesters of German in college. I loved learning the language.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Really makes you wonder what they would even accomplish from that. Like, why does Mr. Howard slack off in the Teacher's Lounge instead of watching over the students who are in detention? Lol 😂
I agree. He went really overboard and way too far with his approach even without the supervision he should have been having. If he was teaching them 6th grade science (one grade level above them and giving them that challenge), that would be much more appropriate and make sense because it would be like an early preview for what they're about to study the next year when they begin middle school. He's the studious one and you would think that if you're trying to teach young kids, you need to be on their level and help guide them properly. You can't just go from 5th grade to college level work as if they're all prodigies. I don't know why he thought that was a good idea in the first place the moment he started.
Knowing my class back when I was in elementary, if we didn’t like the teacher and the security guard came in and maced The teacher chances are most of us would be laughing. Sadistic, I know but I swear kids find some of the most sadistic things funny at times
@@Dctctx That's fair, especially at night when the school would be locked. Idk I was born in 2002, did schools in the mid-2000s have all the security cameras etc. that are in all the schools now?
About Drake bringing stuff to for Josh I think it’s a establish that the Drake Josh and Megan basically share a school building so it might not be that questionable I mean, as long as they have a reason to do it, it may be allowed
Great video as always. I’d like to recommend the episode “Jimmy” from Static Shock, a 2000s cartoon based on the DC hero Static. The episode deals with school shootings and in my opinion it’s done in a very mature and tasteful way. The show was very ahead of its time. “Sons of the Fathers” is another fantastic episode from that series that tackles racism and generational hate.
@School Principal Reacts, you should react to the Simpsons episode “Bart stops to smell the Roosevelts” (it involves Superintendent Chalmers deciding from now on, he’ll personally oversee Bart Simpson’s education.)
Here’s a question I have it’s about Drake bringing stuff for jobs. Have you ever known like a sub or a new teacher who brought their own supplies and they’ve asked someone to help bring it in
Came across your channel and have to say its a cool concept! A suggestion for an episode of something to react to might be MTV's Daria 'Arts n Crass' episode. I think you'd find it interesting. Have a good one!
Josh i think wanted to be challenged when he was a student and he wasn't. Thus, he thinks every student wants to be challenged, but he doesn't understand not all the students are the same
I was never much of a fan of this show, but that can be said for most of Dan Schneider's stuff from this period in general. BTW, don't do any research on Dan Schneider if you don't want these shows ruined for you.
I feel as if it was a failure in communication while Josh expected more of them he could have been nicer and more realistic on where they were at but at the same time I am not a teacher but telling a teacher "we aren't doing your homework" isn't a smart thing to do since they control your grade at least one of them said she tried but they mocked him for not doing their homework but kids sometimes come off as disrespectful without meaning to be except in this case the intent was there
I was actually in class where a student teacher just took over class for two weeks in college. It did not go well i learned squat for those 2 weeks. I filed a complaint with department head about it
The next episode I will recommend is Vicious Tiberius, which has the same kind of premise as I Spy A Mean Teacher from iCarly, also with Miranda Cosgrove funnily enough 😂
I see it's not that bad but I can understand that you would want to keep the channel more family friendly -That being said what about great teacher onziuka?@@SchoolPrincipalReacts
Am I the only one who thinks that Dan the guy who created both this show and iCarly and a few other shows may not have had a High opinion of standard teachers, I think it’s only the eccentric teachers who are treated well

@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Buffy is a great show; ngl, the first season is a little rough around the edges (multiple writers, episodic format, no one was quite sure what the limits of Buffy's "powers" were...) but just about everyone who watches swears by season 2, they've got it locked down.
A lot of the times, students have a sibling. Sometimes they take the same class, (even if it's not in the same year). Is it true that one usually good (grade wise) and one does better? (grade wise), Thank you.

Maybe start with some victorious it was a good show back in the day almost all of its episodes were in school. I love Professor Skiowitz.
(It's an Australian kids' show, but it's so good adults also watch it.)
aye thanks man!!! Love it
Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Keep it up this video was so good like all your other videos they're all bangers
Thanks so much! 😀
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts no problem anytime bro
An in particular, here are the episodes that take place at school, with the Peststrip episodes marked "P":
“Ladybugged”
“The Science Whatchamacallit”
“The Candidate” *P*
“Lunch Lady” *P*
“King Flear”
“Pieface” *P*
“The Usual Insects” *P*
“Scum Bites” *P*
“Hooligans”
“Metamorpho Sis”
“Radio Free Buzzdale” *P*
“Those Pesky Roaches”
“Hot For Tutor”
“Sick Days Inc.” *P*
“Ant Mines”
“Faking History”
“Training Day” *P*
“Best Best Friends” *P*
“Club Hopping”
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the matter! :)
Thanks! 😊

Okay I am going to be that guy. Josh says "Good morning children." and then says "Guten Tag." I get it, but he is incorrect. Good morning in German is NOT Guten tag; it is Guten Morgen. And if you wondered, children in German is "Kinder."
Sorry; I took three semesters of German in college. I loved learning the language.
Thank you for pointing that out! I'm glad to have learned something about the German language today.
Yep! 👍
I love the way you said "No" when the teacher said she'll be in the lounge. 😂
Yes lol, you can’t just walk off and leave a class. 😂
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Really makes you wonder what they would even accomplish from that. Like, why does Mr. Howard slack off in the Teacher's Lounge instead of watching over the students who are in detention? Lol 😂
I think when it comes to challenging students, I think one or two years is the way to go not a decade at least like what Josh was doing
18:55 right lol😂
19:35 nowadays somebody will go to jail if that happens.
Correct!
Knowing my class back when I was in elementary, if we didn’t like the teacher and the security guard came in and maced The teacher chances are most of us would be laughing. Sadistic, I know but I swear kids find some of the most sadistic things funny at times
This show brings so many fun memories!
15:02 Drake and Josh was produced from 2004-2007. Perhaps school security was a bit more lax then?
It was but you still wouldn’t be able to open a window or just walk in through the front door
@@Dctctx That's fair, especially at night when the school would be locked. Idk I was born in 2002, did schools in the mid-2000s have all the security cameras etc. that are in all the schools now?
@@evelynsnow7659most of them as far as I’m aware
10:30 Can't help but feel like you would know there's a homeless person in your classroom if you were in there😂
Yes lol 😂
About Drake bringing stuff to for Josh I think it’s a establish that the Drake Josh and Megan basically share a school building so it might not be that questionable I mean, as long as they have a reason to do it, it may be allowed
I'm pretty sure if you spray that much mace in a small classroom, you're going to make that classroom uninhabitable for at least a few hours 😬
Yep, you’re probably correct. Like I said, I would hate to be the attorney for that school district. 😂
Who else has gotten into trouble for using equipment that was messed with in some way?
13:23
I mean even a “challenge “ has to be somewhat….possible lol 😂
True!
I do wonder if Megan had shown the homework to their parents, they might have told us to stop it
Great video as always.
Thanks
@School Principal Reacts, you should react to the Simpsons episode “Bart stops to smell the Roosevelts” (it involves Superintendent Chalmers deciding from now on, he’ll personally oversee Bart Simpson’s education.)
I added it to my list!
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Thanks
Here’s a question I have it’s about Drake bringing stuff for jobs. Have you ever known like a sub or a new teacher who brought their own supplies and they’ve asked someone to help bring it in
I’ve seen subs bring things but not where they’ve needed assistance.
Nice reaction!
Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Came across your channel and have to say its a cool concept! A suggestion for an episode of something to react to might be MTV's Daria 'Arts n Crass' episode. I think you'd find it interesting.
Have a good one!
Thanks! And thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! 😎👍
There is also, ‘Mean Teacher’ from one of the earlier seasons of Drake and Josh. That’s a good one to watch.
Thanks
Pretty good episode
Iv been in a class without any teacher in the room for half the class. It was too loud to think.🤦🏾
Wow 😮
I forgot about this episode!
6:08
Yeah drake….doesn’t think things through…..
Josh i think wanted to be challenged when he was a student and he wasn't. Thus, he thinks every student wants to be challenged, but he doesn't understand not all the students are the same
Good point
I was never much of a fan of this show, but that can be said for most of Dan Schneider's stuff from this period in general. BTW, don't do any research on Dan Schneider if you don't want these shows ruined for you.
Is it successful when you have two students who are siblings in the same class? What have you found as a principal about that?
I’ve seen siblings in the same class do great, and I’ve seen it cause problems. It depends on their relationship.
6:16
My real name is adam (the john smith thing is a long story) and i used to make that joke all the time
I do believe that is Josh
I feel as if it was a failure in communication while Josh expected more of them he could have been nicer and more realistic on where they were at but at the same time I am not a teacher but telling a teacher "we aren't doing your homework" isn't a smart thing to do since they control your grade at least one of them said she tried but they mocked him for not doing their homework but kids sometimes come off as disrespectful without meaning to be except in this case the intent was there
You should watch the Helicopter episode of this show.
The Recess episode “The Dude”, it’s another student teacher episode that I think you’d reallly like
I wonder if it’s “The Dude” from The Big Lebowski
Thanks
Two other good episodes are Pool Shark and Peruvian Puff Pepper. Neither of them involve school though.
More drake and josh love your videos
Thanks!😎👍
I was actually in class where a student teacher just took over class for two weeks in college. It did not go well i learned squat for those 2 weeks. I filed a complaint with department head about it
Wow 😮
This show if i remember was in 2002 maybe 2003-2005 i think.
It came out in 2004.
11:44 not really, it’d be another thing to post on instagram & RUclips.😊
Such a good I show watch more
Kids are brutal even in tv shows lol. I coached 1st/2nd grade coed basketball. Id have a couple kids whod have a wise guy comment lol
Lol! 😂
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts also security macing Josh is potential firing #1 for this episode
The next episode I will recommend is Vicious Tiberius, which has the same kind of premise as I Spy A Mean Teacher from iCarly, also with Miranda Cosgrove funnily enough 😂
Thanks
The teacher who accused drake in honor council is a recurring character on the show theres a bit of potential with some of those episodes
If you have time you should review an episode of king of the hill: called No Bobby left behind if possible. Since it’s related to school policy.
That's one of my favorite King of The Hill episodes
Try Assination Classroom and great teacher onziuka someday.
Thanks. I did take a look at assassination classroom but I’m not sure I can do it due to mature content.
I see it's not that bad but I can understand that you would want to keep the channel more family friendly -That being said what about great teacher onziuka?@@SchoolPrincipalReacts
Am I the only one who thinks that Dan the guy who created both this show and iCarly and a few other shows may not have had a High opinion of standard teachers, I think it’s only the eccentric teachers who are treated well
I have a question, when you teach a class, and the main teacher watches. Does she give you feedback afterwards?
Yes. 👍
I used to love this show....terrible what happened to Drake; and Schneider is just awful.
Anyway, so excited to see YYH, Sailor Moon, and Buffy
YYH likely next Saturday. I am definitely going to try Sailor Moon. I know you want Buffy, I will get to it eventually. I got a few sudden recommendations for it after you asked about it. 🤔😂👍 It’s on the list. 😎👍
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Buffy is a great show; ngl, the first season is a little rough around the edges (multiple writers, episodic format, no one was quite sure what the limits of Buffy's "powers" were...) but just about everyone who watches swears by season 2, they've got it locked down.
Did yall know drake and josh was never really friends off camera
Hey idk if your interested but can you please react to everybody hates Chris please? It’s a funny show and have really good school videos
He would have a field day with the racist teachers lol
Thanks
So it's not a problem that Josh didn't teach what was in the school's curriculum but rather college level courses?
Yes that would be an issue.
A lot of the times, students have a sibling. Sometimes they take the same class, (even if it's not in the same year). Is it true that one usually good (grade wise) and one does better? (grade wise), Thank you.
Every situation like that is different.
