I love Disney World, Pandora is beautiful. The Imagineers did an amazing job on Pandora. My favorite WDW park is Epcot because of the World Showcase and Spaceship Earth
I was literally at Disney World a few weeks ago. The bird thing was awesome except for how short the actual cool stuff in it was. I also went on the Avatar ride and it malfunctioned so we waited in line for two hours then waited another hour. But it was an awesome trip.
As a Floridan myself I took the opportunity to go to galaxy's edge since all the tourist were stuck at the airport. pretty good time- Even got a shiny charmander in Pokemon Go-
From what I know about dollmaking, I can tell you that you are right that they propably have a finite number of head shapes, and just choose the one closest to yours, since otherwise, they'd have to make a brand new mold every time.. :P And the rest is propably automated, the facial details like eyes and stripes are stamped on, and I didn't get a close enough look at the hair, but that's propably just clicked into the head before the head is put on the body, and then the lid that I spotted on top of the box is closed.. ^^ But my guess for it being automated is because human error is too great a risk in such a production process, and a robot with cameras installed can adjust the placement of the paint down to under a millimeter (how far under depends on the robot), so there is next to no risk of misprints.. :P I am also guessing that the wait of 45 minutes is just the time it takes for the stamped paint on the face to fully dry! XD

I've been to disney a few times and everything there is way overpriced and a scam. This is a fine example, take a $10 off the shelf toy and charge $75 to change a few colors. Even the food is way expensive, $20 for a simple burger.
