I would add a Fourth...The Collusion Model wherein well-placed and well-endowed entities regardless of their status as governments, corporations, institutions or movements closely inter-relate to serve their common interests such as financial, management or technological interests. ....and yes....I want to read this book. 😊.

AI has and will increasingly be exploited to craft dynamic contract terms that exploit every given jurisdiction's nuances for maximum profit advantage. Therefore the EU's digital regulations will have less international reach over time than the author believes.

For myself, there are obvious indications that jurisprudence as it stands at the moment is simply not up to the task of regulating Virtual Reality. In point of fact it is documented that while GOOGLE has produced some cutting-edge outcomes using A I but has no idea of how these outcomes are being produced. How does one regulate something whose nature and function is one big question mark?

@@BruceWSims My comment is not applauding the development but lamenting it. I would think contract terms would be one of the lower down tasks that rule based systems could hack. The author thinks that EU regs, being toughest will continue to exert influence outside their borders just because of the trouble it would take to adjust offerings and arrangements for 100 different jurisdictions. I think tech firms will be able to do just that.
