- Chris Eubank Jr gives his immediate reaction to Conor Benn saying that he called Chris to smooth things over after failing his pre fight drug test. Chris says he can't say much legally but is clearly boiling on the inside. Should the fight be called off or does this grudge match need to get settled? Sound off in the comments below!

From what I understand is that they all knew about these test results weeks ago already. I presume Benn and Eubanks had a phone call back then. The interviewer asked about having a phone call this morning so I think that's the misunderstanding.
The way it looks like to me is that all parties involved have been aware about Benn for weeks now but still didn't cancel the fight. Probably thought they could get this over the line and money is just too big to miss out on.
So basically Matchroom and Sauerland have been selling us this fight for WEEKS now knowing full well that Benn popped dirty. Now that's literally conning the public.

@@Frankl204 I can relate. Here in the states, a pub around my neck of the woods does boxing nights on saturdays. We were all geared up to watch this one Saturday afternoon. Sucks. I was so stoked for this fight. Fantasy fight for the ages, with so much on the line, even tho no belts were involved. Hopefully, we still get this fight sooner than later.
If Conor on the sauce they should let Eubank weigh in at 160 with no rehydration clauses to even things up.

Tbf hes done really well with all interview questions that's been thrown at him didnt see him answering them all like he has done so fp to him for that seems like hes grown up a bit
Just to give some info as a competitive bodybuilder - Clomid or clomiphene is taken after an anabolic steroid cycle to start the body producing its own testosterone again after being shut down by the exogenous hormones (steroids). He would not have been taking that alone to raise testosterone, rather, he most likely was using steroids or anabolic hormones/drugs during his camp and then took clomiphene afterwards to elevate his natural levels back to normal. It would seem they were worried about the size difference in this fight and they have been using anabolics to gain size/strength quickly. They have just got the clearance times wrong and some was still detectable in his system. (copied and pasted)

This whole situation was a simple mathematical misunderstanding. Chris Jnr. was entering this fight at 60% so Conner decided he'd compensate by entering in at 140%.
