I do understand that this type of video may not be everyones cup of tea. However, this video was not made to judge someone else by their living style, and it's not because i'm jealous. It's simply to raise awareness that living in this amount of excess, is not biblical and is not the way to be happy. The happiness you get from buying material things, does eventually wear off, and then you buy more to make yourself feel better again. It's an endless cycle (plus drains the bank account).
As Christians (if you are one), we need to be on guard and not get caught in this trap of consumerism.
Not only is this wasteful (hello plastic everywhere!) but it is also simply not needed.
Again, I know this may not be your cup of tea, however with this type of content being pushed out, and becoming increasingly popular/consumed online, it does need to be addressed.
    God bless!

@ responsibly being the key word here! a lot of these videos aren’t being responsible.
There’s also the problem of finding happiness in material things. Yeah, helps for a bit but once the initial gratification of getting this item wears off, people go and search for the next thing they can buy. It’s unhealthy. Unless there are things being mindfully purchased that have a good purpose, and are being utilized, then I don’t see the problem :)

While I respect and value your opinion, I can’t help but feel like most people who live with first world commodities would be considered gluttonous in biblical terms, unless you’re Amish. I definitely see the value in their lifestyle, but I feel like if we are going to talk about this in biblical terms, you would really need to live very much like that to avoid being considered gluttonous.

It doesn’t (necessarily) mean the kids don’t get these snacks, it just means that kids snacks are in one place and then there are some they don’t touch these because they are mom and dad’s snacks. I don't like this type of video. You take some ones video to criticise. And I see here people who are laughing with these people. There was even one with te name on. That is so not nice and actually bot Christian. It is like you criticise other peoples choices to feel yourself better about your own choices. You don't know why they have so many things... are there a lot of childeren. Do they live with more households... the video with the ice: maybe they give a lot of party's or it is a hobby. We don't have to judge others for gluttony... we have to see to ourselfs. That is also in the bible. I do love your channel and most of your video's. And I know you mean well. But I just can't like this video as a fellow Christian.

I believe her intention was to bring awareness that we do not NEED all of these items. Even with a large number of families.... They do not need that many items. Food yes, but not that many containers. The money can be used for other things that are needed. I do not have a big family, but my friend is number 8 of 12 children and they don't live like this. You have to understand that there is an agenda for them to get us to buy things that we don't need. And if we do buy them from the influencer than they are making money off of us in the wrong way. I think it's fine to have things, but it's not good to have an OVERABUNDANCE of things. I'm a christian also and I liked that she provided scripture support. Just my two cents...

Thank you Amber! That was my intention :) Some people won’t see it that way, however we all need a reality check once and awhile esp when these types of videos are becoming more and more popular online and consumed. As Christians we need to be on guard, and not allow these types of things to lead us astray!

I understand your point, I am sorry you didn’t like this video however this is something that I feel needs spoken about more! I’m not criticizing others for the sake of feeling better about myself. I’m pointing out that this type of living is not biblical, and when we seek material things to fill a void, it becomes dangerous.
I knew this video would get some backlash, however I stand by what I said. God bless!

I understand what you ment but you can talk about the subject and bible verses without using the video's from others and for sure if the names are there. And you can give your vision on things without judging others. Who is without sin throws the first stone. I know that you stand for your video like I stand for my comment. So we better don't keep this discussion going. I just felt the need in my heart to say it. But you are still my sister in Christ. And I still love the rest of your video's.

@@Luna81-123 We can have differing opinions for sure! As I mentioned in my video, I don't condone hate on these creators. However the names are there to give credit to those creators. I'm not sure how this works, but every RUclips video I've seen like this leaves the names/usernames in. These creators already post this content online to see. I also never said I'm perfect or without sin! Nobody is perfect.

You just seem judgemental and jealous. Not a good witness.

And this is why people are brainwashed. She is just stating the truth that these are items we do not need. She is witnessing to people what NOT to do and not to be gluttonous. 😊

I’m not! I just don’t think these videos are realistic and as a Christian, i’m pointing out that living this way, in an abundance of excess, is not the way to be happy! I can understand how this type of video can come off like that, but sometimes we all need a reality check. Esp when restock videos are becoming increasingly popular.

Obviously this hit a nerve. Restocking is selfish. Youre over comsuming food and taking it away from others! Sad you're trying to justify selfishness.
