VS, swordsoul, and other such midrange decks are the peak of modern yugioh imo as games between them last a healthy amount of turns with a lot of interaction between both players, they play at a reasonably fast pace to not feel slow and boring like a control deck or crazy fast like a combo deck, games aren't decided by coin flips as they're good both going first and second without being too overwhelming at either, and they require a healthy amount of skill as to how best to handle their resources in the short and long game, too bad konami tends to make these decks so damn expensive, even having all the non engine required the archetypal cards have so many urs 😢
I know that support for this archetype isn't coming any time soon, but i remember them saying Jiaolong was the "1rst piece of season pass dlc" similar to how fighting games are which makes me think that the future support for this deck will probably be another earth and dark monster, a spell, a trap and maybe even an extra deck monster.
This deck could use a field spell, maybe the spell counts as 1 reveal for a vanquish soul effect and maybe it allows you to move your cards or maybe just tag your cards
So thematically, they already kinda have one, the Link 1 is essentially the "Stage" for a fighting game, it's an unorthodox way of doing it, but it's why the card is not usable for Link Climbing, and I feel a real Field spell would kinda defeat the point.
@@KidArkx They do yeah, but having the Link 1 and a Field spell would then mean there are now essentially 2 Stages at the same time. Maybe I'm a bit too focused on the theme being consistent though, there is definitely more Fighting Game mechanics and gimmicks they could add into the Deck. But effects that let you move monsters that are not the link would be neat, if a bit too good.
Cool, but it would be nice to see different variants. Its already an expensive deck and I think some flexibility would bring more people in than it otherwise would have
@@Triple-Tactics-Tim-Official Yours. I think seeing a couple of other decklists in addition to the current offerings not only opens up more access points to players who might not like one variant, but also a good opportunity to show why some lists are better or worse than others in real time. I like what you have done here, just a small suggestion for the future.
small world and dd crow instead of shifter and tcboo. kaijus / lava golem instead of some of the other UR staples if you dont have them. if you have other dark/fire/earth staples you can run instead like ghost cherries you can run those instead. -ive been running semi budget versions of this deck as I try to slowly craft what Im missing. you can temporarily run stuff like imperms, called by, crossout, etc. to fill out the deck if you have to but i dont recommend it
9:30 you mention that you can activate both Razen reveal effects, but not in the same chain. This is not true, you can only activate 1 reveal effect per turn
Calling the deck "inconsitent" is some crazy batshit Most of the decks plays 11starters if you count prosperity as one which gives you ~82-87% to have something to go into razen when going first and ~87-90% when going second.
It's a really cool deck but I think it still needs one more wave of support to be more well-rounded (probably another Earth monster). I also hate that neither Rock and Stake Your Soul are treated as Vanquish Soul cards, so weird.
yeah could be a budget option tough it also hinders you - just imagine being on your opp turn and you want to 1. summon with rock 2. bounce with caesar 3. bounce with borger - at least these 3
I know the deck wants to run 40 cards but do you think 2x called by would help seeing as if your search for razen gets ash'd your plays are very limited?
I refuse to play TCBOO. D-Dhifter....Perhaps. I'm running bystials currently and they're working fine for now. But TCBOO is just too degenerate especially with Maxx C.
Kash waters down Vanquish soul, and omg remove the Maxx Cs. Maxx C is especially bad in VS, you need the earth cards in your hand(have 3x Panteras instead). And 3x Imperm, 1-2 more dust devils, another continue. Also Feather and Rag are good to have as well.
@@zoltorortegus6259From all cards in this game there are only 2 cards which provides a high chance to literally end the opponents turn. Maxx C and Droll. Maxx C is irreplaceable. Since its an earth attribute, you can use it to trigger monster effects. Its perfect for this deck
@@zoltorortegus6259 Do you know how much starters and searchers a VS deck has? You have tons of ways to get plays started and you will hardly brick. Maxx c is also the best card in the game.

I don't think you should skip cards. It may save some time but I was hoping to find out what they do and why most VS decks are using Bystial

Could add ghost belle for Rock - Support definetly Not in Sight
also the other fire monster other then razen is wyrm so you could use part sword soul if you know what your doing
